I don’t ask for much. Food, shelter, basically just the stuff in the first tier of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Occasionally I might indulge in a phone app game, but I’d like to avoid getting addicted. And yet, when I wasn’t looking, I became dedicated to playing the daily challenge in this bubble-shooting game to the point where I looked forward to the daily points. Well guess what? This app has stopped giving me my daily points. I take it personally, though I know I shouldn’t. The world is a harsh, complicated place that has given me plenty of pressing tasks to complete. Why am I hung up on this one? You tell me, my friend. It seems like every 2 minutes or so of play there is an equally long ad that you can’t skip. I used to only select the 5 coin rewards to avoid the long ads but that’s not working anymore. Half of my time on this game goes to ads. I play daily but it shows I am missing days so I lose out on bonus coins for playing 7 days a week. I really didn't mind watching the ads in between games but this has become issue has taken all the fun out of playing this game. I wrote this review about two weeks ago. The ads situation has become unbearable with three ads popping up in the middle of one game. The videos to receive free coins are not active. Only the purchase buttons seem to work. ### 1/5 — Used to be a good game *2025-05-17, version 1.0.7* I have been playing this game for years but got away from it for a couple of months. Six months ago I would have given this game 5 stars without a second thought. Game is great, ads were fair. Played today though and got ad after ad DURING game play, which is completely out of bounds. This is the reason always to read the most recent reviews. These developers forget that they really don’t have any brand loyalty and there’s always a new app occupying the niche they fill. We can live without you guys, you know, and it’s easy to move on. I will move this icon to the end of my game folder. I’ll come back and try it again in another couple of months or so - maybe they’ll get the message and clean this up. Maybe not, in which case it will be a delete. ### 1/5 — Ads *2025-04-07, version 1.0.7* This game has entirely too many ads and they are extremely long. I had to exit my game because a treasure box popped up and the ad I had to watch was 120 seconds long. I thought after about 30 seconds it would stop. Whew was I wrong. 60 seconds in, it was still going. I closed the game out, losing the coins they wanted me to spin for. Ads do come up frequently during play but ONLY when you merge large points and right after the game advises you have merged. These ones tend to be 5 sev ads. The longer ads occur when you what to play on snd get free extra ads. I have been trying to find a game that was enjoyable and fully understanding ads pay the developers but didnt want 2/3rds of game time spent watching Ads. You get rewards for achievements and daily game challenges. Very impressed developers.
