At first it actually is really good. The games are colourful, the characters are the same as in the show, and it feels like it’s made for kids properly, not just thrown together. But the problem is you can’t really do much without paying. You start playing and then suddenly loads of stuff is locked, and you have to get a subscription to carry on. That’s pretty annoying, especially since it’s meant to be a kids app. Kids aren’t going to understand why they can’t keep playing unless someone pays for it. It kind of feels like it tricks you a bit — like it lets you enjoy it at the start and then stops you unless you pay. I get that apps need to make money, but for something educational and aimed at young children, it feels a bit unfair to lock so much behind a paywall. When he pops up the canvas none of the numberblocks show up for him to sort. I’ve sent a message to the app support twice now without any response. I’ve been paying for this monthly but my son has only been able to play up to the number three because two of the games keep glitching and just will not load, I have tried to download a few times and nothing works.
