I haven’t been able to use it for a while now. I will have to try to find another source. I don’t have that with this app. So I have to inconveniently go to app symbol from windows look up number guru, then grab the number and input back and forth what a hassle and not worth the cost .. very inconvenient app apparently it was a lot better before from what Ive read and understand, the quality of service was lowered by the time I purchased it . ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2024-04-19, version 4.2.58* Doesn’t provide a name anymore, this app is useless ### 1/5 — steal information *2024-04-03, version 4.2.58* I downloaded the app for a survey and payed for the prime and it stole my personal information! and money directly from my card!!! Do not get it. They charged me 23 bucks for no reason. It's a scam ### 1/5 — Used to be a good app, but now it’s horrible *2024-03-15, version 4.2.58* I used to love this app. It worked great and would give me info on callers. Now it gives me nothing. At one point, I paid $40 for the upgraded version to get better results, but the app was later updated and now it wants me to sign up for premium service…? Why did I pay $40 already? I keep it in my phone hoping somebody it will return to its previous functionality, but every time I try to check a number, it fails me. This all is a waste of time and money. Great app idea, but apparently greed of the developer has ruined it. Fix it and I’ll redo my review. ### 1/5 — No good *2024-02-28, version 4.2.51* This was my go to app when I would get calls from unknown numbers. Now I assume it is a pay to view site only. The only information I get from this app now is what shows on the caller if which is the number calling and the city and state the number is calling from. Very limited info now. I understand the fact that they are trying to make money but you should have a little better features for the free version. I guess I will have to delete this app and find another ### 1/5 — This app is DANGEROUS- BEWARE!! *2024-01-26, version 4.2.51* This app prevented me from calling 911. I am not joking of confused. My husband had a medical emergency and I repeatedly attempted to call for help, but my call would not go through. I had to call my father-in-law, and in a panic, scream for him to have an ambulance sent to our home. It was the most terrifying event of my life. Once we were at the hospital, I had a moment to look at my phone to try and troubleshoot what had happened— each call I had attempted to make to 911 was flagged by Number Guru, and was canceled. I had more than a half dozen unsuccessful calls!!! ### 1/5 — Wish I could give 0 stars *2023-12-11, version 4.2.51* The app use to work great. I haven’t had success with number look up in the past few years. I get more info from google than this app now. The response to another review from the maker says the info they provide is public, then in the same sentence says it’s not publicly available. That’s enough to make me delete this app. There’s another reverse # lookup app that’s free. I will give that one a try. Bye bye NG!! ### 2/5 — Use to be my go to *2023-12-08, version 4.2.51* This use to be my go to so that I can confirm numbers. But now names are no longer given when doing a search. You now have to pay I guess. Sad, I understand they have to make money some way outside of collecting data and usage but without having the names the app is no longer needed. ### 1/5 — Inaccurate in the premium service is a waste of money *2023-11-16, version 4.2.44* I always try a few numbers I know first or ones I can look up to see how accurate these apps are. 10 numbers I tried and every single one of them was wrong. Some were businesses some were my family or friends. I enrolled in the premium service which gives you 100 look ups per month. All that I looked up had no extra information and when it did, It was wrong. ### 1/5 — App has never been very good *2023-11-11, version 4.2.44* I actually paid for this app a few years ago, now I try to use if and find out it’s a subscription service, not a chance I’m keeping it any longer. They can’t even get the information on, one of my numbers correct, how can I trust that any other numbers would be. My fault for paying for it in the first place ! ### 1/5 — Deleting App *2023-10-28, version 4.2.44* This was once a great app now they charge for any type of basic info. You can search for a number & the app doesn’t provide anything useful. Better off using google to find info. ### 1/5 — Useless without expensive monthly subscription *2023-09-22, version 4.2.21* Had this app for years and was pretty effective at reverse lookup. Recent updates have eliminated that without a subscription. Don't waste your time downloading this app ### 1/5 — Requires expensive subscription for basic info *2023-09-18, version 4.2.21* I used to like this app. Could pay in advance for a given number of reverse searches. Now it wants me to subscribe to a $24.99/month service to get even basic information about a search target. Unacceptable and deceptive since not described on the app store page. Even my unused paid-for credits from vefore this change disappeared without a trace. This is scammy. I am switching to the whitepages app that charges $24.99 per year instead of per month. ### 1/5 — Blocked Me From Calling 911 *2023-09-13* Blocked my phone from dialing 911 when my husband had a cardiac event. Everything is hidden behind a subscription or fee, so all it tells you is it, “searched”. I think they have given my number to spammers, in fact. Never pulls info on any number entered. As of about two years ago, that all stopped. Now they don’t give you any information. Very wrong move by the developers as this used to stay on my phone. Now I download it in hopes it will give me info like it used to, but it never does. You know this is for safety the least you could do is make it reasonable or have it a per year and if people want additional information about the number they can pay more but you really don’t get anything anymore by even using the app. It’s really a shame. Been using for a few months and look up numbers before dates. Was about to go on date but looked up dudes number and turned up being in his wife’s name and his address was somewhere else. Most numbers I look up are accurate. I’ve used other apps in the past in they gave no info. ### 5/5 — Enjoyed this *2018-04-17, version 2.3.0* I really enjoyed this app. It's very helpful, always has been. It did need an update but with this last one, there are people who are reporting spam #'s as "Ok Callers" but if you read their comment, it talks about it being spam. Also, when typing in a #, if you leave the screen to check the rest of the # it messes up the first few #'s you had entered. Might just need another update. Edit: the last update fixed the issue with entering the number. It doesn't jump around messing up the entry. I texted them to see if they'd tel me Who they were and they refused to tell me. I went to many many many sites trying to search the number to see who it was. This app was the only thing that was successful. Great app. 10/10 would recommend downloading. ### 5/5 — I love this app! *2015-11-04, version 1.2.4* There's nothing I hate more than getting spam calls in my cell phone. This app takes the guess work out of random phone calls. When I can look up and see if its a spam call or possibly someone I actually need to call back. I downloaded it with others listed before it and when I got to this one, I only wished I got to it sooner than wasting my time. I don't know what the app used to be, but I am totally fine with watching a few long videos so long as I can get my information for FREE. And I did, a name was all I wanted and a full name was what I got.
