## What is Numbers Up?

- Numbers Up is a quick casual game that is fun and challenging. Each turn rolls 5 dice from which you choose 2 pairs to play and 1 to discard. But choose your 2 pairs carefully! The sum of each pair selects a Number to move. Each Number will first lose points when moved off the starting row. Then try to keep moving your Numbers Up the board to gain points.

- Keep an eye on your Discard Rows because they will lose a position when you discard the remaining die after choosing your 2 pairs. When a Discard takes the last position available in that row, the game is over - whether your score is positive (a win) or negative (a loss).

- Track your progress on each of your personal devices separately or compete with your family and friends on Game Center.

- Numbers Up offers an exciting blend of skill and luck with fast-paced play you can stop and resume at any time. Use the in-game tutor to learn more details of how to play.

Been playing some form of this game for over 30 years. Based on the great Sid Sackman classic!

If you are going to generate income from ads in your app please give an option to opt out of them, or a purpose to them for the user. Right now they just keep users from your app - no reroll for it, extra life, no benefit to the user at all. 
Would happily pay to remove them since this is a great adaptation of Sid Sackson gameplay and runs really smooth. 

As a smaller aside from someone who is concerned with data privacy; I feel like when developers choose to have ads and no way to remove them it communicates a couple things. The developer is more important than the user, and the app is likely data mining

**Developer response:** JustRenisfine, thank you for your constructive comments. Like you, we are concerned about data privacy. We do not collect/mine any data ourselves (except for game scores so they can be shown in Game Center, and crash logs to fix bugs), though our ad partner, Google, does. You can limit data collection by turning off tracking under Settings->Privacy & Security->Tracking on your device.

We are two hobbyists who have spent hundreds of hours refining this little app over several years as a very part-time effort. It's quite surprising how much time it takes to develop a quality app. We thought ad revenue would help support further development for this app and other app ideas we have. Unlike most game apps, we took a very conservative approach to ads: The app only displays one ad after completing each game. We also limit ads to the most restrictive "general audience" level and block sensitive ad categories. It's no surprise then that our ad revenue has been very low. We cannot quit our day jobs just yet :)

Since ads really haven't helped much, and with increasing privacy concerns these days (rightfully so), we will be removing ads completely in an upcoming update. Instead, the app will offer some limited level of daily play for free, and an in-app purchase for unlimited play. So please stay tuned and watch for updates.

Wow! I have never played a number game quite like this. The rules are unique and you have to plan and think carefully. Try competing with your friends for the highest score! Originally got -510, BUT I know the rules now. It’s game on. 😎

Sometimes I like mindless games just to relax but when I’m looking for a something to tickle my brain I find this is a great go to game. It is challenging but once you get the hang of it you just want more. Two thumbs up

I'm enjoying the challenge at least 3 times a day!!! So fun to see my scores climb up the Leaderboard!!!! More fulfilling than regular Solitaire and so much faster to play when I don't have a lot of time... even though I also like to play Numbers Up when I'm winding down @ night 😉

I like how you’ve made a game out of elements of some Sid Sackson designs AND credited him on the _about_ page.  The game itself is great, nicely presented, good that it plays in either orientation, but there is one flaw: the messages assume a very slow reading speed and halt the game for far too long.  A slider in the options to speed up the message display time, or a right swipe to indicate ‘got it, move on’ would be a good improvement.  A small problem that will not stop me from playing whenever I have a few minutes.
