## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.11.0 — 2026-09-10

New math adventures and a brighter town to learn in!

TEDDY'S PICNIC: Set a place for every animal and bring just enough snacks. Hands-on counting and sharing for preschool and Kindergarten.

EQUAL CROSSING: Make both sides equal, find missing numbers, and repair equations in a new Arcade game for Grades 1 and 2.

FRACTION KITCHEN: Make equal portions, prepare recipe orders, and explore sharing and scooping in three chapters for Grades 3 through 5.

YOUR NEXT STEP: Grades 1-5 get examples, games, fresh checks and saved progress. Daily Adventure includes due concept review. Grown-ups see activity and hint use.

HOME MISSIONS: Try 14 everyday math activities, two per band from preschool through Grade 5.

CLEARER LESSONS: Refreshed, expandable boards make arithmetic, decimals and fractions easier to follow. Fraction Arithmetic has its own lesson card. Improved Spanish place-value labels, step narration and playback controls.

ARCADE MAKEOVER: Explore Math Crossword trails, Make It True's Toy Workshop, and refreshed matching, grid and balloon games.

FAMILY FACE-OFF: An animated race circuit brings family matches to life, with clearer progress and answer controls that fit smaller screens.

BETTER DARK THEME: Improved text, buttons, and teaching-card colors across lessons and games, including Equal Crossing and Fraction Kitchen.

New activities include English and Spanish text and work without AI.

### 1.10.0 — 2026-08-28

Numberton now speaks Spanish, welcomes Kindergarten, and sends worksheets home that come back marked.

NUMBERTON EN ESPANOL: every screen, question, hint and story, and the
read-aloud voice too. Tap the globe on the Who is playing screen, pass
the grown-up check, and pick English or Espanol for the whole device.
The choice sticks, and nothing else about the family's profiles changes.

KINDERGARTEN, a new grade between Little Explorers and Grade 1: Count
Along (count along a hundred chart, how many, which has more), Add and
Take Away with hands and ten frames, Ten and Some More, Measure and
Sort, and Shapes. Every day the home screen picks Today's Three, and a
Mixed Check shows a grown-up what is solid and what is next.

LITTLE EXPLORERS (ages 3 to 5), rebuilt tile by tile: Count with Me,
Quick Look, Count and Stop, Show Me the Number, Blast Off, Number Words,
Number Catch, Animal Party, Hide Some, Who Came First, Sort It, More or
Less, Where Is Teddy, and Bigger Longer Taller, now on three spoken
shelves. Every game waits for its own words before the next thing
happens, praises honestly, and speaks Spanish with the right endings.
Math Talk cards give grown-ups something to say at the table.

WORKSHEETS THAT COME BACK: every printed sheet carries a code. Share a
fillable PDF, let the kid type into it on any computer, bring the saved
file back, and the app marks it and explains each miss. Print stacked
sums the way school does, one box per digit, with carry, regroup,
partial-product and long-division rows, on Letter or A4, student pages
only, with a separate worked answer key for you.

STAR CLOSET: the stars a kid has earned open new looks for their
avatar, hats, glasses, auras and frames. Stars are never spent.

GRADE 5: Mixed Numbers gets Missing Piece, the fill-in-the-box
equations from the workbook, with both ways to solve them and a check
at the end.

ALSO: every Little Explorers game has an Again button in its top bar,
so a finished round is never a dead end.

No ads, no accounts, nothing collected by us. Just math. (The optional AI
helper, if a grown-up turns it on, talks to the provider they chose, and
now answers in the family's language.)

### 1.9.0 — 2026-08-25

Two kids, one house, same challenge. Race!

FAMILY FACE-OFF, the new arcade card: two phones or tablets on your home
Wi-Fi find each other, deal the exact same questions, count down
together, and race. Each kid watches the other's progress bar climb.
Most right answers wins, and speed only breaks a tie, so careful beats
frantic. A three-emoji secret code on both screens proves it is really
your brother, sister, or grown-up. Mixed ages? Fair fight is on by
default: each kid races questions at their own level, same start, same
length. Nothing leaves your house. No internet, no accounts, no
strangers, and the questions themselves never cross the network. If a
phone drops mid-race, the other kid simply finishes as practice.

CONTINUE WHERE YOU LEFT OFF: the home screen now starts with a Continue
card that remembers the last topic or game each child opened, and a
Find button. Tap it to search every topic, activity, and game by name
or by what it teaches. Hold it to browse everything.

A WELCOME FOR EVERY LEARNER: the welcome screen's hand-drawn kids now
come in many skin tones and hair styles, one wears glasses, one uses a
wheelchair. And if your device is set to reduce motion, the welcome
holds still.

ALSO: the little x on the Daily Adventure card is easier to tap, and
the whole Face-Off flow speaks kid words (start a race, find a race,
your racer), with grown-up details kept in their own panel.

No ads, no accounts, nothing collected by us. Just math. (The optional AI
helper, if a grown-up turns it on, talks to the provider they chose.)

### 1.8.0 — 2026-08-24

Numberton now explains itself, and grade 5 gets the mixed-number page that was missing.

A WELCOME THAT ACTUALLY HELPS: the first time a child opens the app, four short spoken stops show them around. Today's adventure, how the shelves work (locked ones open as you grow!), where the stars live, and where to start. Twenty seconds, tappable, skippable, and it reads itself aloud for children who don't read yet.

GROWN-UPS GET THEIR OWN TOUR: the first visit to Grown-ups Corner points out the tabs, the grade setting, and a new page called How Numberton Works that stays put. Grade locks, the exam maker, the optional AI helper (off by default, your key, every reply checked), and how to reach us.

TIPS AT THE RIGHT MOMENT: one small hint the first time it is needed, instead of a wall of instructions up front. How Watch, then Try, then Quiz works. How each arcade game plays. And a heads-up before a real exam. All replayable any time from Grown-ups Corner.

NEW TOPIC: MIXED NUMBERS (grades 4 to 5)

- Make It Improper: whole times bottom, then add the top, with pies that show why the bottom never changes.
- Add and Subtract Mixed Numbers: the three-step method, watched step by step or filled in yourself.
- Compare Sums: which side is bigger? Fill in the less-than, greater-than or equals sign.
- Correct or Not: be the teacher. Mark someone else's answer and find the slip. Every wrong answer is a REAL mistake children make, and the app names the thinking behind it.
- Plus an eight-question quiz that fills its own progress row.

AFTER EVERY UPDATE: one gentle look-what-is-new spotlight, never a pile of announcements.

Screen-reader users get an announced banner instead of the spotlight overlay, and calm mode keeps everything still.

If a grown-up has turned on the optional AI helper, its key now lives in the device's secure keychain instead of ordinary app storage.

No ads, no accounts, nothing collected by us. Just math. The optional AI helper, if a grown-up turns it on, talks to the provider they chose.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-08-22

Geometry becomes engineering: build bridges and towers, read real
blueprints — and find out why the whole world is full of triangles.

KID ENGINEERS — three new ways to build:
• Strong Shapes Lab — wobble a square, brace it into triangles,
discover the arch's secret, tile a floor, and FOLD shapes to test
  symmetry
• Bridge & Tower — lay beams joint by joint, then send the truck
across; stack tower blocks that really topple; stars for rigid,
  elegant, and storm-proof builds
• Blueprint Room — read floor plans, design rooms to a brief, and fold
flat shapes into boxes (only some of them fold!)
Every verdict is real mathematics — the same rigidity rule engineers
use — never a script.

NEW HEROES in Start Here: Emily Warren Roebling, who ran the
building of the Brooklyn Bridge for eleven years, and Filippo
Brunelleschi, who built the "impossible" dome. Their stories link
straight to the building games.

MATH CROSSWORD — a brand-new puzzle game: number sentences cross
like a crossword, and every puzzle can be cracked by pure thinking, no
guessing needed. Three sizes, from first numbers to two missing signs.

PERCENTAGES — the new topic card: color a hundred grid and watch
percent, fraction and decimal change together; climb the 10% ladder to
find any percent in your head; then take the quiz.

FRACTION PICTURES: adding fractions now shows WHY with an area
model — see the pieces before the rule.

MAKE IT TRUE grows up: long number sentences with two operations
(times goes first!) and a grouping hug that puts parentheses in a
kid's hands.

AND IT FEELS ALIVE: right answers climb a musical note ladder — keep
your streak going and the tune climbs with you; a perfect quiz rains
confetti; little haptic ticks on every answer. Plus gentler coaching in
Little Explorers, a sticker-moment dial for grown-ups, and dozens of
small fixes from real family testing.

No ads, no accounts, nothing collected by us — just math. (The optional AI helper, if a grown-up turns it on, talks to the provider they chose.
