## What is Numera?

Turn a photo you love into a paint-by-numbers picture: your pet, a trip, your family.
Numera makes it right on your iPhone or iPad in a few seconds. No ads, no sign-up, nothing uploaded.
Paint it on screen, print it and use real paints, or do both. Print at home or take the canvas file to a print shop.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick a photo from your library, take one with the camera, or start with a sample: a ginger cat at a window, a lake at sunset, a lighthouse by a chalk cliff.
• Watch it develop: Numera picks the colors, traces the areas and places the numbers. No generative AI. Every area comes from your own photo.
• Tune your picture: 10, 24 or 36 colors, or 48 and 72 under More detail. Main subject gives pets and faces finer areas.
• Choose a style. Classic: you choose how many colors, fine lines. Kids: up to 10 colors, big areas, thick lines.
• Drag the before/after slider, look up close, and see roughly how long it will take on screen, as an A4 print or on a 40×50 cm canvas.

PAINTING
• Tap a numbered area to fill it. Pinch to zoom in on the finest details.
• Numbered color pots show how many areas of each color are left.
• Find jumps to the next area of your color, even the tiniest one.
• Hint, Undo, and a minimap that takes you anywhere in the picture.
• Move on to the next color automatically when one is done, with gentle haptics along the way.
• On iPad: double-tap or squeeze Apple Pencil to undo, plus keyboard shortcuts.

FINISH & SHARE
• Compare your finished painting with the original photo.
• Save or share a time-lapse video of your painting.
• Share a before & after image.
• Start a fresh copy and paint it again. The finished one stays in your library.

PRINT AT HOME
• Print any picture, painted or not, and paint the numbered areas with real paints on paper or canvas.
• A4, A3 and US Letter, plus a 40×50 cm (about 16×20 in) canvas file for any print shop.
• PDF with a color key page, PNG or SVG.
• Choose outlines, numbers and a faint photo underlay.
• Print straight from the app with AirPrint.

PRIVACY
• No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• Your photos and pictures stay in the app on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
• Files leave your device only when you share or print them.
• Delete one picture, or everything at once in Profile.

IPHONE & IPAD
• Made for both, with two-column layouts on iPad in landscape.
• Your library keeps every picture with its progress.
• Bright Studio theme, or Evening, a dark theme for painting before bed.
• In English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese and Russian.

Everything is included, with no limit on pictures. Pick a photo, slow down, and paint.

• Detailed pictures are now easier on your device: it stays much cooler and uses less battery while you zoom, pan and paint.
• On the painting screen, the buttons, the title and the messages now sit on solid backgrounds.
• On iPad in portrait, Fit to screen, Hint and Undo have moved to a row above the color pots, so they no longer cover your picture.
