### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2025-11-13*

Would love better jade integration for coin control

### 3/5 — Need improvement in qr scan

*2025-05-27*

Used to love it but lately it has been failing to scan QR codes frequently. Hope the dev fixed that soon because it has so much potential.

### 3/5 — Beautiful, Featureful, Buggy

*2024-12-03*

Class-leading Bitcoin wallet in terms of features has too many sharp edges; easy to lock it up or crash it. Overall can't recommend it.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2024-09-27*

Intermediate Bitcoiner here and using Nunchuck as the watch only wallet for my Coldcard Mk4. All working smoothly and giving my way more optionality than my previous set up w Ledger. Signing transactions w NFC now and sleeping like a baby. Thanks for maintaining this app!

### 5/5 — Future request

*2024-05-28*

1. Biometrics scanning before entering the application.
2. Tor network enabled

### 5/5 — Crashing

*2024-04-07*

Excellent app, but crashes once in a while.
Devs, please fix these intermittent crashes and make it THE best.

### 5/5 — Top notch

*2024-03-22*

Love the inheritance planning!

### 3/5 — Didn’t get very far

*2024-03-11*

I installed this app added three keys, started making a wallet, then noticed the menu item that I could use to login, and they recommended for a better experience that I do in fact log in.

I did that, and boom, all my keys were lost. Apparently the app doesn’t realize that a new user might create keys, then log in for the first time. and apparently, when you login, that identity supersedes any implied identity created when you make keys without logging in.

So at this point, I’m just wondering: If right out of the gate I get sent back like that, is it worth putting more time in?

### 3/5 — Crash

*2023-11-27*

Crash when adding wallet via qr

### 5/5 — Multisig made… least hard

*2023-11-12*

If you’re going to do multisig, and don’t want to compromise security too much, this is the easiest way to do it, IMO.

Plus, the devs have shown their willingness to stand up for your rights.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Impossible to read qr code

*2025-03-27, version 1.9.75*

Qr code reader simply doesn’t work and can’t read qr code on coldcard

### 1/5 — Terrible Performance

*2025-03-26*

Terrible experience with this app. Transactions are painfully slow, and sending Bitcoin is overly complicated and full of issues. I expected better performance from a wallet focused on security, but the sluggishness and complexity make it completely impractical. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth experience

### 1/5 — NFC & Coldcard MK4 not working

*2025-02-18*

NFC & Coldcard MK4 not working. When attempting to export a key form CC MK4 to Nunchuk wallet on my IPhone 16 Pro, the Nunchuck app attempts to transfer, but the NFC fields switches states back and forth and never finishes the transfer.

### 1/5 — Crashes on 18.1 iPhone 16

*2024-11-14, version 1.9.58*

Latest update never starts. It just crashes.

### 1/5 — Unzuverlässig

*2024-09-13, version 1.9.54*

Der „Signer“ funktioniert oft nicht, es sind zahlreiche Versuche erforderlich.
Seit kurzem heißt es „Pending Signature“, aber alle Coins sind verschwunden und tauchen auch bei der Empfängeradresse nicht auf…

### 1/5 — Update!

*2024-04-11*

Pleae udpate your app. I have BTC in this wallet and it will not open on my Mac. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it keeps crashing.

### 1/5 — Nunchuck - deploys malicious file

*2024-01-26*

When downloading my malware found malicious code called miner so i uninstalled the client -- not sure if it is part of Nunchuck or a bad actor but not worth the risk

### 2/5 — A lot of potential but really falling short

*2025-03-14*

UI is clean and I think there potential for this app. But I am pretty baffled that keys don’t persist across devices. Additionally I wanted to do some testing on testnet3, testnet4, and signet but my funds never appear for any of those networks while I am logged into its respective network setting.

### 2/5 — Crash

*2024-08-17*

Last update won’t let me log in.

### 3/5 — Solid

*2025-08-13*

I really like this wallet. The only reason it’s not my main driver is the lack of internal tor proxy. I hate having to turn on Orbot, which is so fickle. Then go into the app and pray that Orbot stays stable long enough for me to connect to my electrum server and get a balance.

Please add internal tor proxy 🙏 Fully Noded does this best on iOS, I’m sure Nunchuk could do too :)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best multisig

*2026-03-29*

Great hot wallet for paying bills and also for teaching friends about multisig.

### 5/5 — Bitcoin price.

*2026-01-28*

Nunchuk Bitcoin Wallet earns a solid 9.0 stars for its masterful balance of security and usability in the crypto wallet space.

First impression & onboarding: A lean 15MB download, it skips unnecessary sign-ups, requiring only a seed phrase backup—GDPR-compliant and refreshingly transparent.

Core functionality & daily use: Executes Bitcoin transactions with military-grade multisig, offline signing support, and Lightning Network integration. Syncs reliably across devices; CPU usage stays negligible during operations.

Design & UX: Spartan yet functional; clear navigation without clutter. Dark mode respects battery life, though accessibility options could be expanded.

Privacy & data handling: Impeccable. No third-party tracking, local data storage only, and easy account deletion. Open-source codebase invites scrutiny.

Monetization: Free, with optional donations. No hidden fees or aggressive upsells—a rare ethical stance in finance apps.

Battery, storage, and system impact: Minimal footprint; background processes are strictly limited.

Standout strengths: Unrivaled security features, privacy focus, and developer transparency.

Overall verdict + score: Best-in-class for security-conscious users. A permanent fixture for those prioritizing privacy. Power users and long-term holders, keep it. Casuals might find it overkill. Alternatives: BlueWallet for simplicity.

### 5/5 — There is no second best

*2025-12-22*

The title says it all. There’s honestly no better wallet for iOS. Hugo and the team are constantly making this wallet better and better as the months go by.

### 5/5 — Solid-EDITED

*2025-10-26*

I really like this wallet. The only reason it’s not my main driver is the lack of internal tor proxy. I hate having to turn on Orbot, which is so fickle. Then go into the app and pray that Orbot stays stable long enough for me to connect to my electrum server and get a balance.

Please add internal tor proxy 🙏 Fully Noded does this best on iOS, I’m sure Nunchuk could do too :)

EDIT: I learned that you can have Orbot always on and allow pass-through, so that any app that requires Tor will automagically connect, while the rest pass through on clearnet. With this fixed (on my end, sorry Nunchuk) this is now my main driver ₿ wallet.

### 5/5 — Good

*2025-09-16, version 1.9.87*

The greatest app for bitcoin

### 5/5 — Bitcoin price.

*2025-08-12*

Amazing update having Bitcoin price right at the Home Screen.

### 5/5 — By far the best OnChain Wallet EVER.

*2025-06-23*

I’m so delighted with this wallet. I should have started using it way earlier in my Bitcoin journey! It can do single signature, as well as multi signature with EASE! I feel very safe using this. Highly recommended. Don’t trust, verify!

### 5/5 — The Future is Now

*2025-03-11*

Simple to use, user friendly and fairly easy to understand everything.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2024-12-21*

Love this app in all platforms

### 5/5 — Excellent UI

*2024-09-30*

Fantastic app, thank you
