### 5/5 — Addictive...

*2010-02-11*

This game is hard to put down... I'm working my way through the first 100 puzzles, and I'm annoyed every time life interrupts. Can't you see I'm busy?

### 5/5 — Great puzzler

*2010-01-23*

Very unique gameplay, it's somewhere between jezzball and minesweeper. Great design, I love the level selection wheel.

### 5/5 — Fun game, challenging, very polished

*2010-01-16*

I am enjoying this game and find it very challenging. The presentation is very polished with a lot of attention to detail.

### 5/5 — Recommended

I don't play games, but my 9-year-old son does. I got Nurikabe Vault for him and put it on his iPod Touch about an hour ago. Haven't heard a peep since, which is strange, so I just checked out why. He seems to love it - so far he is still deep in thought as he plays it and can't put it down. That's a good sign - gives me time to write this. If it works for him it works for me, so based on this I will say great app!

### 5/5 — Great game

*2010-01-09, version 0*

Fun and Addictive, cool graphics.

### 5/5 — Remember how you used to be addicted to minesweeper?

*2010-01-03*

This game is similar to Minesweeper mixed with a little bit of Go. It is a nice geometric puzzler. It appears to hold a few hundred hours of gameplay.

### 5/5 — Nurikabe Vault

*2009-12-21*

Amazing first iphone app from this developer. Unique, intuitive and beautiful interface, tons of content. If you like puzzle games, check this one out.

### 5/5 — Beautiful game

*2009-12-18*

After going through the quick guide, I was up to speed and ready to stumped by the multitude of puzzles the game offers. I love how it remembers what I've done on a puzzle, it makes it very easy to pick up and leave off when I only have a moment to play. The artwork in the game is stunning, I definitely recommend this game.

### 5/5 — fun even for non-gamers

*2009-12-18*

I'm not a big phone games person, but after testing this game I think I may be a convert. Great way to entertain yourself for brief spans of time (or much longer spans of time, if you're standing in long lines). I particularly like how it saves state so if you get interrupted you don't lose any progress.

### 1/5 — Run unacceptably slowly on new iPhone

*2026-03-25*

I have an iPhone 16 Pro with the newest iOS and this game takes almost a full second to register each tap, which makes the game essentially impossible to play.

### 1/5 — なんでやねーん

*2013-10-19, version 1.5*

updateした瞬間からめっちゃバグってるやないかーい。もう一回updateし直して下さい。

### 2/5 — だめ

*2015-05-04, version 1.6.0*

### 3/5 — Nurikabe Vault

*2010-01-24*

Cool graphics, love the game. However, you need time to be able to play the same as some of the puzzles are quite hard.

### 4/5 — Functional. Hard. Not the best aesthetics

*2015-05-20*

Lets start with the good news; the app works, and it works like any puzzler could expect. This is genuine nurikabe, and there's only one solution per puzzle.

Now the middle-ish news. These puzzles are hard. There's no real difficulty curve. For experts, this is a good thing, but beginners should stay away.

Now the bad news. The visuals are a bit TOO fancy. Fancy visuals are for action games; for puzzlers like this, function trumps form any day. This may sound like a silly complaint, but when all you need is a square and a dot, getting creative just feels weird.

THE VERDICT: It's worth the price tag, but better apps exist.

### 4/5 — Reset option, moar levels!

*2014-12-24*

Really excellent overall, much prettier interface than others, good range of difficulties. Would pay for more puzzles. Upgraded graphics resolutions would be nice, but it's held up very well even so. And, a better way to reset levels than un- and then re-installing the game.

### 4/5 — Tough

*2010-10-30, version 0*

Challenging puzzler with great graphics.

### 4/5 — Challenging Puzzles

*2010-05-26, version 0*

Great game. Enjoyed solving the challenging puzzles.

### 4/5 — Great UI, good graphics, eats battery

*2010-01-11*

I think the user interface on this Nurikabe is great, and the graphics are clear and enjoyable. I wish there was an option though to trade graphic animation vs. battery life. As it is this game really chews up the joules.

### 4/5 — Great brain teaser

*2009-12-15*

Nurikabe Vault is great new brain teaser logic game, in which you use logic to solve puzzles (500 of them are included!). The user interface is a bit quirky but in a fun sort of way using dials to select the puzzle you wish to tackle. Scoring is based on the time it takes you to complete a puzzle and I can tell you that once you start one it's hard to stop. This is a perfect game when you need a the 5 minute break or mental diversion, you could probably solve a handful of the easier puzzles in that time, larger ones might take you longer. I love that there are so many puzzles included, going to take me some time to finish them all haha! The inclusion of Open Feint is pretty neat should you wish to see how your times compare to others or to issue challenges (though I haven't tried that aspect yet).

All in all this game delivers a huge number of fun and engaging puzzles, it's going to see a lot of use on my iPhone.

### 5/5 — Tolles Logikrätsel

*2012-09-06*

Spaß für alle, die Logikrätsel mögen. Auch wenn 20 Rätsel in der Umsonst-Version ein bissel wenig ist.

### 5/5 — Loved it!

*2012-06-10, version 1.0.3*

✨👍👍👍✨

### 5/5 — Wow

*2011-11-24*

This is cool. I don't really like sudoku, but I really liked this. It was a great thing to do in free time. 😄😃😊

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2011-08-30*

Played through all 500 levels! Whew, what an achievement. But now I want more... How about a simple update that includes a "reset button" so I can start all over again. I know I can play individual levels again, but half the fun is finishing each "ring" which is only possible if all are reset.
Thanks for the many long hours 

### 5/5 — Challenging

*2010-11-03*

Very nice graphics and a pretty challenging puzzle game. If you enjoy games like sudoku, you should try it too.

### 5/5 — easily the best interface of any Nurikabe app

*2010-10-28*

We can't have the Hudson puzzle series (huge in Japan on the DS), but we have this excellent substitute! Slick, intuitive interface with plenty of great puzzles that don't reek of algorithmic generation. You can't go wrong here!

### 5/5 — Challenging, Yet Addicting

*2010-10-05*

I played the demo for this game, at first, it was a bit challenging to grasp the concept but I soon blew by all the puzzles. This game is great to challenge yourself if you're waiting for someone at an appointment, the airport, or whenever since each puzzle may be finished quick. I would really like to have more puzzles readily later on in the future. Other than that, great app!

You would most likely enjoy this game if you like puzzle, strategy, or arcade games like I do as well. (My first review ever).

### 5/5 — A great iPhone game

*2010-05-16*

With gorgeous graphics and some puzzles running the gambit from easy to challenging this is a great app. The only downside is that it tears through my phone's battery very quickly.

### 5/5 — addictive

*2010-05-10*

I started off with the free version and was so addicted I had to buy the full version. Great to pass the time while waiting for anything. Problem is not sure if I'm getting better or the full version seem to be easier.

### 5/5 — Great looking and challenging puzzle game

*2010-03-02, version 0*

Great looking and challenging puzzle game. It's great that this has OpenFeint. With 500 puzzles, you won't be finishing any time soon.
