## What is NurseOS?

Nursing school runs on fifteen apps. NurseOS is the one that tells you you're okay.

Paste your Canvas calendar link once. Every day after, one calm screen shows what's due, what's urgent, what you can ignore — and the one number that actually decides whether you pass.

KNOW YOU'RE OKAY
A computed daily read — "You're on track, 4 due this week, nothing overdue" — not another red-badge to-do list. Exam countdown on your Lock Screen. A gentle nudge toward the one thing to start first.

NEVER LOSE CLINICAL ELIGIBILITY
Compliance is a maze of expiry dates and ordered steps. NurseOS computes when to renew and shows why — "Renew by Aug 1, one month before Session 3" — with the TB two-step gated in the right order. Everything still submits in Complio; this just makes sure nothing lapses.

KNOW THE NUMBER THAT MATTERS
In nursing school a C isn't enough — it's 76% or you're out. The what-if calculator tells you exactly what you need on the work that's left to stay above the line.

WALK INTO EXAMS CALM
A day-by-day study plan built from your own materials, ending light the night before. Paste a transcript and get flashcards, a study sheet, or an NCLEX-style quiz — generated privately on your device.

THROW ANYTHING AT IT
Share a syllabus from Safari, photograph a CPR card, drop a file in — NurseOS files it and only speaks up when it finds a date worth catching. It reads the expiry off a scanned card and updates your renewal automatically.

ASK YOUR SEMESTER
"When is my TB step 2 due?" "What did the professor say about APA?" Ask in plain language and get an answer drawn only from your own data, with a tap-through to the source.

YOURS ALONE
No account. No sign-up. No server. One read-only feed link, your data in your own iCloud — synced across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Works offline.

The organizer is free, forever. The AI study tools are a one-time unlock.

Requires a Canvas calendar feed link (Canvas → Calendar → Calendar Feed). AI features run on Apple Intelligence-capable devices. NurseOS is an independent organizer and is not affiliated with Chamberlain, Instructure/Canvas, or Complio.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-08-05

The app is now called NurseOS.

Study guides from the questions you missed. Take a practice quiz and the questions you got wrong become a study guide — your answer next to the right one, why the right one is right in plain English, a memory hook for each idea, and a one-screen cheat sheet. Turn the whole thing into flashcards in a tap.

A Study tab that answers one question: what should I do right now? Pick a course and you get a short “Do next” list instead of five stacked sections.

Your material, organized by where it came from. Everything you make now sits under the source it came from, so a quiz, its study guide, and the cards built from it are one thing you can open — not three scattered rows.

Weak spots. One place to drill the cards you keep getting wrong, pulled from every deck in the course.

Also: flashcard answers are no longer cut off, ratings 1–3 sweep left and 4–5 sweep right, no rating looks pre-selected, and a crash that could close the Study tab on launch is fixed.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-23
