### 2/5 — This App is missing so many drugs

*2025-02-08*

When I initially looked at this app I didn’t read many reviews. I wish I had because there are reviews on this app saying they are missing drugs from years ago. The developer even replied saying they are working on it. I wasn’t able to find ANY antibiotics I needed to research. This app costs $25 and it seems like I have wasted my money.

### 4/5 — No OB meds

*2024-03-15*

Please update and add OB meds, much appreciated.

### 3/5 — I thought it was going to be great.

*2022-11-30*

I did a free trial and ended up subscribing because I am in nursing school, and it worked great for me when I used it to look up meds for my Pharm class, but when I got to clinicals, I noticed so many meds were missing. Almost every other med I would try to search for wouldn’t pop up, brand and generic names. I was trying to avoid spending a ton of money on a drug book (I’m poor, okay, nursing school is expensive, lol), so I paid the $25 for the subscription.. yes I know that’s not a lot, but now I still need to spend money on a drug book lol. Oh well, I will still be using it for the meds it does have because it happens to have a good layout and good info.

**Developer response:** Hi Stephannissa, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are constantly working on updating and improving the app. Please email us at support@atmoapps.com so that we can discuss this in more detail.

### 3/5 — This is quite extensive, but…

*2022-09-08*

Can I ask why the “Drug Administration” sections that are in the book are not on the app? I wanted to know, because it seems like a vital part new nurses or nursing students should have access to.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. The “Drug Administration” section is included in the app under the “Nursing Considerations” section. Please email us at support@atmoapps.com if you have any additional questions or concerns.

### 4/5 — Quite impressive

*2022-08-28*

An easy to navigate app and full of information. However, I noticed that the newer medications used to treat HC/BV are not included. I suspect that other medications are remiss, too. The HC/BV medications are important as they are prescribed more and more in non-specialty settings. Two thumbs up, but more effort to include more medications is needed!

**Developer response:** Hi Shay, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are constantly working on updating and improving our app. Please email us at support@atmoapps.com so that we can discuss this in more detail.

### 2/5 — Search

*2021-07-25*

It used to be easier to search a drug and find all the information. Now it is difficult!

### 3/5 — Missing common drugs

*2021-01-14*

Missing common drugs needed for nursing school. There is already a new 2021 handbook published but where are the updates to the app?? If it’s faster to publish and distribute a whole new book then that takes away half of the reason for an app. The only reason for an app is it’s handheld convenience but again, it’s not that convenient if you’re missing common medications.

### 4/5 — Please more drugs!!!

*2019-07-29*

You are missing medications that I commonly use in the ICU. Etomodate, precidex, ketamine. None are in the app. I would also appreciate a way to look drugs up by category, like typing in benzodiazepines, and seeing all those drugs in that category. Thank you

### 4/5 — Very handy!

*2019-06-20*

Useful for clinical practice.

### 1/5 — Outdated ?

*2019-02-08, version 2.5.1.333*

Does not have half the drugs I was looking for

### 1/5 — Cancel

*2019-01-16, version 2.5.1.333*

I want to take auto subscription off and do not want to renew. How do I do this
Robert

### 3/5 — Injectable

*2019-01-10, version 2.5.1.333*

No info on injectable meds..?.. Lantau, Levamir, Humalog

### 1/5 — Minimal, not very user friendly either.

*2018-12-04*

Don’t bother if you’re looking for something with a comprehensive range of medications and brand names. I must have missed cancelling my free trial period by minutes and ended up having to pay for the subscription. Disappointing.

**Developer response:** Please contact us at support@atmoapps.com for further assistance.

### 1/5 — Disapponted

*2018-09-19, version 2.5.1.333*

Lacks most of drugs needed for my expertise

### 1/5 — Title for what? I want to look up a drug give me an index give me something

*2018-03-24*

I simply want to look up a drag I can’t get past giving a review I don’t want to give a review I want to look up a drag I just opened the app I paid for it

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. It should be noted that giving a review is optional and you may select the option to forgo giving a review when prompted to do so. Once, you forgo giving the review you will not be asked to give a review again. If you have any more questions or concerns, please contact us at support@atmoapps.com.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not a useful app for nursing school

*2025-11-11*

I bought this because I’m going through nursing school and thought it would be a good resource. This book doesn’t have a lot of the medications we encounter in school. An even bigger concern is the medications they do have are listed with the same side effects. You can’t determine what side effects some medications have because they list all of the same stuff for each drug. When you leave a bad review all that’s asked is “can you send us a message with what we can improve on?” even if it’s in the review. This app is hardly updated. I don’t recommend this app for those going through school.

*2025-02-14*

When I initially looked at this app I didn’t read many reviews. I wish I had because there are reviews on this app saying they are missing drugs from years ago. The developer even replied saying they are working on it. I wasn’t able to find ANY antibiotics I needed to research. This app costs $25 and it seems like I have wasted my money. Update: as you can see the developer replied with a generic reply. The drugs this app does have doesn’t have all the info a nurse or nursing student would need for the drug. They have certain adverse reactions in bold but fail to tell you what that designation means. They also list every, single reaction this could possibly have without clueing you in to the most common.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2023-02-15*

Does not have complete list of drugs. The first day I used it I needed to look up a drug. Was not listed in generic or brand name. It’s not reliable

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Our team is continuously working on updating and improving our app. Please email us at support@atmoapps.com so that we can discuss this in more detail.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t tell what I need!

*2021-06-17*

It isn’t bad but it’s missing things like how the drug is supplied. Which is kinda needed for what I’m doing. Also side effects is kinda needed. Especially the most common ones.

### 1/5 — Can not manage subscription

*2021-02-25*

This is an ok app but don’t get the “free trail” as you can easily manage the subscription. I have been trying for months to find the auto renewal feature to turn off as I don’t want to pay for another year but I can not find it

### 1/5 — Make it free

*2019-09-04, version 2.6.3.439*

I’m only a student wanting to pass my subject, I don’t have much money to subscribe. Lol.

### 1/5 — Missing simple drugs

*2019-08-30, version 2.6.3.439*

Missing basic drugs for med-surg! Not helpful for nursing students.

### 1/5 — Application configuration error

*2019-07-03*

“Application configuration error” every time I try to open the app. This app only worked for the first few weeks that I had it. I regret paying for it.

**Developer response:** Hello! Sorry to hear you're having trouble, please contact us at support@atmoapps.com so we may help you.

### 1/5 — Does not have paralytic medications

*2019-06-25*

Useless App. I can’t even locate it on my phone to delete it. Worst drug reference I’ve seen on the App Store so far. Don’t sign up for the “free trial”. Not at all worth the money.

**Developer response:** Hello! Please contact us at support@atmoapps.com so we may assist you.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2019-06-07, version 2.5.1.333*

Not all medications are in the app. Has happened using genetic and branded names

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Lucille

Lárgate

### 5/5 — NO

*2024-04-20*

It’s so fix

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We are happy you are enjoying the app!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2020-06-28*

This app is extremely useful when I’m working with patients

### 5/5 — Review

*2019-12-27*

Can’t work without this resource. I use it everyday I work.

### 5/5 — I like it; more frequent updates would be cool

*2019-02-18*

Idk why all of the negative reviews. Almost 10 months and I use this app pretty regularly. Some newer drugs don’t show up but that’s not a deal breaker for me. A more modern or “prettier” UI would be nice to see sometime soon. Overall this app compliments epocrates and medscape, and sometimes I find myself going to this first before anything else when looking for info

### 5/5 — Terrible App - where are the basic drugs?

*2017-11-01*

I can’t find Lantas or insulin. Very simple medications aren’t listed in this thing.

**Developer response:** All the insulin are in the appendices under "Parenteral Insulin Preparations" with the exception of the nasal inhalation form which has a full entry because it is the only insulin not given parenterally.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and great

*2017-07-29, version 2.1.1.240*

Quick access to the info you're looking for. As a new grad RN I like to look up any meds I'm not familiar with before giving them. This app makes the process as quick and easy as it can be.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2017-05-24, version 1.2.1.112*

Its very good !!

### 5/5 — Really good app

*2017-04-05, version 1.2.1.112*

I am an EMT student and I find this app very helpful!!

### 5/5 — Handy

*2017-02-23, version 1.2.1.112*

Great app. Convenient and easy to use.
