The book is helpful but the app is even more convenient since you can just carry your phone with you in clinical and don't have to worry about losing your book or having to carry it around. I gave this app 4 stars because I wish there was some sort of categories for physical, psychosocial, and educational nursing diagnoses. But other than that it's wonderful and I would strongly suggest purchasing this app! Hopefully the developers make those categories (: ### 4/5 — Nice care plan app. *2014-11-08* It cost $40 to get all of the content of this app, which is about the same as an actual care plan book. Just wish it had the rationales listed. We recommend deleting the Nurse's Pocket Guide app, then redownloading it from the App Store, making sure your device has a strong internet connection. It should then provide you with the options to sign in, preview, or buy. ### 1/5 — This app is too expensive! *2019-05-02* This app is too expensive and the fact that it is a subscription app makes it a total rip-off to nursing students struggling to make ends meet while in school. I do not recommend at all. ### 1/5 — Beware! *2017-06-26* I purchased two apps from them thinking they are a company that would keep up with the apps but noticed my nursing dx app will no longer function with newer ios updates. Long story short they say it is apple that will be making the app useless, but they removed it. Will not be purchasing an app from them anymore or any app developer unless they have a proven track record of keeping the apps running smooth with newer operating systems. Unbound is saying I have to repurchase the app if I want to benefit from the newer version or upgrade my nursing central app. Really?? Very disappointed with unbound medicine. The information is detailed and thorough and more than I anticipated. It's not cheap, relative to the usual cost of a typical app, but what you get is invaluable to the nursing student, like myself, and to the practicing professional.
