### 5/5 — Gives me Help with pronouncing

*2019-07-29*

I just downloaded the app to help me with medical pronouncing, I am not a native English speaker. The app DOES have an audio pronounce guide. Just click on the tiny speaker beside the name.

The app is supposed to have audio pronouncing of words but I can’t find that function in the app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2022-04-25, version 3.2*

They need to update it with all the medical terms that we need. I tried searching a couple of words one of them was ominous and it wasn’t listed. SMH

### 1/5 — Bought ad-free version. Still receiving ads.

*2020-08-01, version 2.1*

Downloaded this app awhile back and bought the ad-free version since it was useful for Clerkships. Not sure whether it’s worth it to be charged a second time and (who knows?) maybe a third later on.

### 1/5 — I must have the wrong app...

*2019-11-13*

I’ve been an RN/NP for 28 yrs. Based on the reviews of this app I downloaded it. I am so disappointed that I can’t get any information or definition on anything unless it is “1st year student basic.” I can get more info from WebMD. I see now there’s an update for purchase, but as bad as the free app was, I’m not buying.

**Developer response:** We're sorry to hear that. As we are always looking to add new sources, it is possible that the database of terms for this app will be expanded in the future. Also, the update for this app is free to download. The only available purchase for this app is the ad-free upgrade in the app's menu.

### 1/5 — Not that that great

*2018-02-03, version 1.7*

I tried looking up 2 symptoms & it wasn’t found, 3rd time was uremic syndrome; word not found. Don’t call yourself a nursing dictionary please

### 1/5 — Not working

*2017-02-21, version 1.7*

app not working 😩

### 2/5 — 10 years out of date

*2019-11-16*

There are at least 3 major issues with this app.
1) It is incomplete, missing many medical terms. Google is a better app!
2) It is unnecessarily difficult to use. For example, if one searches “wound care”, instead of being directed to a definition of wound care, one is taken to a list of every type of care. Then one has to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the very bottom of a very long list of types of care.
3) It is woefully out of date. I came across one entry (fibromyalgia) that hadn’t been updated since 2009. This was immediately evident because the diagnostic criteria for this syndrome changed in 2010. Thus anyone using the app will be misinformed

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. It is possible that our source will update their entry in the future, in which case we will display the updated information.

### 3/5 — Really!! No concept of Vital Port !

*2017-11-13, version 1.7*

Vital Port concept not founded

### 4/5 — Search

*2022-03-27*

I love the app. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to search in your bookmarks. Please add this feature.

### 4/5 — LLS Interpreter

*2021-08-10, version 3.2*

This is my to go app for medical terminologies. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Missing words

*2021-02-21*

Love this app, other than you HAVE to have the spelling pretty much exact and it doesn’t always have every nursing related word (understandably) but good otherwise!
