Glitchy, badly organized, and very hard to get accurate info, such as keeping track of past orders and seeing when your next one it (in theory these functions exist, but like it said it’s glitchy and poorly organized that it’s not easy to parse thru). If it weren’t for the app, it’d be a 5 star rating from me ### 2/5 — False advertising *2026-05-26, version 4.5.2* After googling for oral wegovy, Nurx came up, when doing the questionnaire, I was asked if I was interested in oral semaglutide compound, but then after being charged and prescribed something else, I was told they didn’t offer oral semiglutide. ### 1/5 — Unusable App *2026-05-13, version 4.5.2* I typically would use Nurx for skincare and birth control needs, but it won’t even let you request treatment as it will show a blank screen. I’ve tried restarting and uninstalling but nothing has fixed the issue. It’s ridiculous. I had had to fight with them to get a refund as the price was too high for me and they still proceeded to order it. I never got my refund back either. I got a message and I replied immediately but I kept getting emails everyday for the next 4 days that I had an unanswered message until finally someone replied to me. I sent another response and now i am left waiting another few days ### 1/5 — Creepy Provider *2026-03-23, version 4.5.0* The provider that they matched me with started asking for inappropriate photos of my chest, which were not even an affected area. They then refused to offer me a refund. ### 1/5 — Incompetent support staff *2026-03-16, version 4.5.0* The support staff is absolutely incompetent. They forgot to mail my prescription, causing me to scramble with an in person doctor when I ran out. Following this incident, they said they’d ship my prescription and share tracking asap. Following a week of silence, I followed up and they said it was sent to a pharmacy. Absolutely awful customer service with each message/reply in the chat being sent to a new customer service representative, causing repetition of needs and drawn out resolutions. Should not be difficult, yet somehow there are issues abound. Figure out your support staffing. ### 1/5 — They will double charge you *2026-03-07, version 4.4.1* So I was using there service for about 3 months now, where I paid a regular monthly fee to receive consultation from there providers and then the prescription fee from the pharmacy. I ran out of refills at the pharmacy and during my time I already paid, in order to get more refills, they wanted me to double pay on there service in order to receive care from them that has already been paid for. I would highly recommend looking for a different place to get what your looking for as there activity scamming people. Also, my wife also use to use their service and she got what she needed from them, canceled the monthly fee but they continued to charge her anyways regardless of her cancellation. Mind you the prescription was $40 something and they also charged my card with a $3 processing fee… I shouldn’t pay over $60 for something that was originally $40 something. ### 1/5 — Lowest Quality Care *2026-02-20, version 4.4.1* I have had numerous issues with Nurx since I started using them about 6 months ago. The providers don’t respond in a timely fashion, they send incorrect prescriptions to local pharmacies and say you need to call the pharmacy instead of fixing the issue on their end. I also had pretty severe side effects with a medication and my providers recommendation was to “wait it out” for months. I would absolutely not recommend this service unless it is a last resort. ### 1/5 — Gotten worse *2026-02-18, version 4.4.1* Nurx has gotten way worse recently, it seems like what used to be holistic care is spilt into several categories now (mental health, skin, reproductive — even though these things cross over eg my birth control pill is both skincare and reproductive health). There are also different chat threads for each type of care, who don’t seem to communicate with each other. I updated my shipping address ages ago and my skins care goes there, but my birth control goes to my old address, it was only when I noticed i was fully out of birth control pills that I checked. Now I’m going to get painful breakthrough bleeding while I wait for them to resend, something I use their service precisely to avoid. There are doctors that answer in each thread and also service people who answer in the same thread, sometimes with contradictory information. I recently asked to be sent only one brand of Tretnoin because I don’t want to buy Israeli products and one brand they use is Israeli. The service person replied with an emphatic yes but then the doctor responded saying I would need to change where I get my prescription to guarantee that. The point of this service is it’s integrated and automated, now I feel like it’s going to be easier to quit this app and use my PCP. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — mental health consultation not properly reviewed and no refund issued *2026-08-18, version 4.5.2* I got Nurx in order to help maintain my OCD and anxiety. I included information very briefly that I was hospitalized over 10 years ago for a completely unrelated health issue and after a LOT of back and forth of me primarily focusing on my current ongoing mental health issues, they came to the conclusion that they could not properly treat me, diagnosing me with the eating disorder that I have not struggled with for over 10 years, and only mentioned extremely briefly in passing. This tells me that the information that I gave was not thoroughly or maybe even not read AT ALL. I paid 60 dollars to be diagnosed with something that I don’t have and have been refused a refund. The customer service person was very very kind and personable though, the best part of this experience. Overall, I absolutely would not recommend this app for mental health help, though it may be ok for other things I’m not sure. ### 1/5 — SCAMMERS *2026-08-18, version 4.5.2* This company seriously sucks. Get your prescriptions from Good Rx or somewhere else. I was charged for medication that was not delivered. And then I paused on refills and was sent them anyways and charged for them. For months, I was charged support fees that were not justified under Nurx’s own stated policy, and customer service never identified the order or prescription that supposedly triggered those charges despite multiple requests. Over the past week, they’ve charged me $80 and have been unable to send any of the prescriptions through saying “my pharmacy doesn’t take my insurance” but I quite literally WORK at the cvs they say they can’t fill it at. Since then, they’ve refused to refund me and have only offered full cash payment at the pharmacy, which if I wanted that I would’ve just gone through the pharmacy.. I got Nurx thinking it could fill the prescription for me but it cannot. Just go to a clinic or doctor if you need one- DONT waste your time with this app and DONT put in your card info when it asks, they are trying to charge you up front without consent, and will not notify you. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-07-07, version 4.5.2* Charged me$59 then $10 yet never shipped my medicine out, won’t respond to me. I specifically got this service because they automatically refill and mail meds so that I don’t need to do the mental labor of remembering to handle that. I am in a huge amount of pain now waiting for them to renew my prescription which they neglected for months. They offered to send my prescription to a local pharmacy but that won’t change the wait time I have in excruciating pain. The app is also very slow these days taking up to a minute to load (it’s not my internet) and every different type of care (reproductive, acne, etc) has two different chats, one medical and one service, and they don’t communicate with each other so I get a lot of duplicate or contradictory messages. And after going through the questionnaire and filling it out, they asked me some follow up questions because I had put down that I was diagnosed with depression many years ago.. Well apparently if you say that you have depression, then they’re gonna press you for more answers to that and it goes on and on and on. I had stated multiple times that I was I was already being treated for that and have been stable and fine completely fine for a long time now and that’s not why I’m here. The only thing that hasn’t improved with anything was panic attacks. And trying to answer the long paragraphs that they sent me over and over again I kept saying that I was only here for the panic attacks because everything else has been fine. Upon their further questioning, they asked if I was in counseling for anything I had been dealing with or if I have seasonal depression. I I answered that I had been in therapy for that and it’s been going fine. The next message that I’m not able to respond to you at all cause they cut off the chat was that they can’t help me and to keep my treatment under the same people that are prescribing the depression treatment as if that would be coming from my therapist which needs flash they don’t usually prescribe anything. This entire experience was very dismissive. They pressed me for depression over and over again, never once asking me about the sole reason why I came here which was the panic attacks and instead acted like my car was Supposed to be in person despite them claiming to help with anxiety here. Apparently, if you put down that you have ever experienced depression, then they’re going to act like youre extremely and very depressed, and apparently too depressed they can’t help you. It ended up being the best decision ever! It not only is super user friendly and easy to use, it also is incredibly quick. My screening only took a few minutes, and it only took a week or so to have my 3 month supply at my door! You can message your doctor with any questions you have about your prescription, and they get back to you in a timely manner. I think I only ended up spending $25 out of pocket for the entire process! (Although I do have insurance, so I’m unsure how much it would cost for someone who is uninsured). It’s wonderful to have this accesible and affordable tool for those who need contraception of all forms.
