NutraWisely helps you effortlessly track calories and nutrition so you can reach your goals with less friction.

DIARY AND CALORIES
Log meals and water and see your day at a glance. Your diary refreshes when you come back to the app and stays aligned with entries you add on the web. Your "today" respects your time zone and when your day starts, so your totals match how you actually live.

RESTAURANTS
Eat out without retyping the same meals every visit. Save nearby spots to My Restaurants or a Shared list with family. Build one menu per chain — add your usual at any Chick-fil-A and it is ready at every location you saved with that name. Tag places, favorite them for quick access, and see My and Shared favorites together in each tab. Optional proximity reminders can nudge you when you arrive at saved restaurants (Settings). Share a restaurant with a link so friends can save it to their own list. Discover popular menu items other NutraWisely users linked to the same place and add them to your menu in one tap. Log to your diary — for you or a family member — in a few taps.

AI-POWERED LOGGING (PREMIUM)
Add food the way that fits the moment: describe it in text, speak it with voice entry, or snap a photo of a label or meal so AI can extract nutrition and create a custom food. Guided shortcuts get you from the compass menu to logging quickly.

FITNESS AND WEIGHT
Connect Apple Health to bring in workouts and weight. Track progress toward weight and calorie goals and see trends over time.

FAMILY AND SHARING
Invite family members, manage relationships in one place, and log food for yourself or for someone you are linked with (where permitted). Peek at a member's recent food diary on their profile when sharing is enabled. Share shopping lists and restaurant lists with chosen family members. Share individual food items or restaurants with a link so friends can open them in the app or on the web.

STAY ON TRACK
Choose which reminders you want: water, end-of-day nudges, weight updates, and more. When you return to the app, optional toasts can summarize recent activity. A notification bell lists important alerts and syncs across your devices when you are signed in.

Complete onboarding and start tracking without creating an account, then create an account anytime from your profile to sync across devices and use NutraWisely on the web.

### 5/5 — How I Lost 15 Pounds Using an App That Finally Gets It

Whoa, I usually would never say this about a calorie tracking app, but Nutrawisely is on a whole other level.
I’ve tried a lot of calorie trackers before, and most of them feel clunky or boring. Nutrawisely is different. It tracks calories and weight loss really well, but it also has a bunch of features that actually make it useful in real life.
I love that you can create your own foods and meals. I like being creative with cooking, and the AI that helps you make custom meals has been a game changer for me. I don’t have to force my meals to fit the app, the app works with what I actually eat.
The grocery shopping list feature is awesome too. You can plan your meals and make your shopping list all in one place. You can even track feeding your pets, which is kind of a nice bonus.
I also really like the achievements and the option to partner with someone. Tracking progress with my partner has made it way more motivating and fun. We keep each other accountable and celebrate small wins together.
Since using Nutrawisely, I’ve lost 15 pounds, and now with the app it’s even easier to stay on track. I can check my progress on the go, and with my partner using it too, we’re going to have our summer bodies before spring.
This app has honestly changed how I track my food and my progress. If you’ve tried other trackers and felt frustrated, Nutrawisely is definitely worth trying.

RESTAURANTS — SMARTER MENUS AND SHARING

Chain menus
Save multiple locations with the same name (like Chick-fil-A) and keep one shared menu and tags across all of them on My Restaurants or Shared. Add your usual once — it is ready at every location on that list.

Share a restaurant
Send a link from any saved restaurant. Friends open it in the app or on the web and save the place to their own My Restaurants, with an optional copy of your menu to start from.

Community favorites
On restaurant detail, see popular items other NutraWisely users linked to the same place. Add anything to your menu without searching.

Favorites in one place
My Restaurants and Shared each show your favorites plus the other list's favorites at a glance, so you never hunt for a hearted spot on the wrong tab.

Better arrival reminders
Proximity notifications monitor all saved restaurants (favorites first when you have many). Improved detection when you are already at a restaurant when the app opens, with a wider geofence for drive-throughs and parking lots.

**Faster diary, calmer offline days**

Your diary opens faster: we show your last saved day and summary right away when we already have them, then refresh in the background. If you come back the same day, you should not see an empty flash while things reload.

**Smarter food cache**

Previously used foods stay available offline in a larger, better-managed cache. Favorites and custom foods are kept safe from routine cleanup. Offline search can draw from more of what you have used before.

**Easier repeat logging**

For foods we have cached locally, we remember your recent quantity and unit so the add flow can prefill instead of waiting on the network every time.

**Weight-loss notifications**

If your goal is to lose weight, we replaced immediate “macro goal hit” pushes with one end-of-day calorie progress reminder (default 7:00 PM). You can change the time in notification settings. Empty-diary reminders are unchanged.

**Better behavior when the network is weak**

If today’s diary is already on screen from cache, we no longer block you with a generic “unable to load” alert. If a new entry fails to sync, you get a short informational message and we retry when you are back online.

**Add to diary after creating a food**

Fixes a case where the quantity sheet could appear blank after adding a newly created AI or custom food to your diary.

**Design and accessibility**

Refined backgrounds and tab chrome, clearer visual hierarchy across key screens, and VoiceOver improvements on Progress (weight, calories, streak, and weight-goal summaries). Subscription and other surfaces have improved scroll and control accessibility.

CREATE FOOD WITH PHOTOS (Premium)
Snap a photo of a nutrition label or your meal and AI extracts the info to create a custom food item. Use the guided navigation button (compass icon) → Add to Diary → Create with Photo. The AI food creator opens with the Photo tab first so you can pick images right away. Perfect for packaged foods and quick logging.

UNDER THE HOOD
We've improved how the app handles coming back from background. Your user data (including current day) updates when the app becomes active, and the diary reloads when you view it—so you get the newest data without doing too much work.
