Pani Puri gives me more than 360 calories. Logging of food takes long time sometimes more than 10mins Meal scan will test your patience. I paid for the premium version. **Developer response:** You're right that pani puri scans run high. Portion is the problem, the scan guesses how many puris, so tap the meal and correct it, the fixed number is what gets logged. A 10 minute log is a bug, not normal. Akash ### 1/5 — App forces paid user to give 5 star review *2026-04-30* Use this app once and suddenly it will ask you to rate five stars. there’s no option to skip that screen and go back to your previous work. It’s very annoying. I can understand if you do this to a free user but not to paid one. **Developer response:** You're right. A rating prompt you can't skip is a bad pattern, and paying users shouldn't see it at all. We're changing it. Sorry for the interruption it caused. An attempt to get a five star rating with no option to close the page or add any more data without closing the app and reopening it. Absolutely pathetic… allow me to use it for a few days and decide myself …instead of trying to force me to give you a good rating. **Developer response:** You paid and got a rating prompt you couldn't close on day one. That's a fair complaint and we're reworking it. Rate us whenever you've actually decided, or not at all. Waste of my money. Uninstalling right now. **Developer response:** Scanner, search and manual entry all failing at once points to something broken on your install, not three dead features, manual macro entry does exist. Still, you paid and it didn't work. If your friend did sign up and you got nothing, that's a bug. Email support@nutriscan.app with their referral and I'll check. Akash ### 3/5 — Needs a lot of improvement *2026-04-12* I wanted to like this app but ease of logging food is painful at times. I don’t like how you can’t change oz/kg etc. Doesn’t give you a full snapshot of nutrients if that’s important- especially if you’re using this app for pregnancy. I also wish you could look at each item’s nutrients individually if you want. It be nice to group individually logged food items in meals. Noticed macros were off in certain foods. I like in my fitness app you can save meals or foods and easily add them to your log interface, on this app you have to go through your account page to see your favorites and select them. It would also be nice if you select you’re doing this for pregnancy that it gives you an average range of the nutrient # you want to be hitting. Have time I’m double checking everything on the internet which is annoying. If this and MyFitness Pal could get together it would be stellar or just a lot of improvements before I pay for this. **Developer response:** Thanks for the detail, this is useful. Two things already exist: each scanned meal breaks into items you can open one by one, and the Report tab shows micronutrients. Three things don't yet: oz/kg switching, pregnancy target ranges, and quicker access to favorites. All three are on my list, pregnancy ranges first. Akash ### 5/5 — Amazing Application *2024-11-21* The best thing about NutriScan is its speed. I just click a pic, and the app shows me everything about my food – calories, protein, carbs. Your health transformation awaits! ### 5/5 — Very useful app for Health Freaks and Gymrats *2024-10-06* Loved this app, The optimisation and the result will take very less time so my advice is that , if you love your physical health must try this app before what you are eating it will take less than 10 seconds and gives you a wonderful results like what nutrition your food contains. I personally liked the in-built question suggestions, where you can get more insights on the dish and nutritional values. And it also let the user edit the ingredients for precise results. I feel I'm mindful while making eating choices. It improved my fitness journey drastically from eating literally anything to choosing right eatables. My gym regime also improved with healthy eating choices.
