CANNOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT. CANNOF CONTACT SUPPORT . ### 1/5 — Doesn't work *2025-02-13, version 1.1.8* I have a nube thermostat but no way to log in - rejects my email ### 1/5 — Email address doesn’t work - no customer support *2024-11-14, version 1.1.4* It’s almost impossible to contact anyone at Nuve to report app problems. This app (and their other branded apps) apparently doesn’t like a hyphen (“-“) as part of the domain name when trying to enter an email address to log in. How can one bug be reported?? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Never loads *2026-06-22, version 1.2.5* The app stopped working. It won’t load when I open it. Tried deleting it and redownloading and it won’t load for me to even sign in. My internet connection is fine, but the app won’t work at all. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-03-26, version 1.2.5* You thought Nests were annoying? ### 1/5 — Junk App and Thermostat *2026-02-05, version 1.2.5* App: Doesn't pass Auth token. Hangs on splash screen. Locks up. Has to be deleted and reinstalled several times daily. Forgets password. Requires new password. Changes temps on its own even when schedules are turned off (could be thermostat also). Only HVAC installer has primary account, user doesn't. Thermostat: Nuve thermostat is junk also. Thinks it's 3º - 5° warmer than it actually is. Forgets its settings. Stops working periodically, especially overnight. Displays annoying "Low Humidity Warning" messages when actual humidity is 35%RH - which is not low. Unit has a loud fan that runs 24/7 - sounds like a white noise machine. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-02-01, version 1.2.5* This app and thermostat is keeping all the data away from you. Your contractor can do whatever they want with your unit. Including tweaking stuff that might cause you issues and call them for repairs. You cannot see what settings they might be changing and don’t have access to your data. Ultimate garbage. ### 1/5 — Useles *2026-01-31, version 1.2.5* It was fair while it worked. The inability to edit schedules is ridiculous. Today it stopped working completely. I have removed and reinstalled it twice. Shut off and restarted my iPhone. Nothing. Looks cool but if it can’t function with skill base WiFi thermostats have why get this thermostat. Highly recommend something else ### 1/5 — Thermostat screen malfunction *2025-08-28, version 1.2.2* Within under 30 min the screen on the thermostat went black . There was a malfunction and my AC shut off after getting a new AC /furnace unit . Do not use waist of time downloading the app and running AC . The HVAC guys are currently installing a different brand to make sure my new unit works ! ### 1/5 — Not a fan *2025-07-10, version 1.2.0* No consistency between the thermostat unit & app. It would be nice if you had a temporary hold & a permanent hold option. And what kind of thermostat app doesn’t allow you to create or modify the schedule through the app itself. There’s honestly no point to even have an app with this unit. And the plate around the unit itself is gawd awful. No reason for it to be so big. The entire thing is an eyesore. I don’t know what it was before today, but not only can I schedule temperatures and times I haven’t been able to figure out anything I can’t do including back lighting and colors from the app. There’s nothing wrong with the app and I understand that maybe they’ve updated it which is why I wanted to create this post. ### 5/5 — Nuve thermostat *2026-04-01, version 1.2.5* Easy installation, excellent service to help me stay in contact with my contractor. ### 5/5 — Perfect! *2026-02-06, version 1.2.5* Beautiful app seems to be working perfectly. The app hasn’t worked for days. It will NOT OPEN. I can only get in by uninstalling and reinstalling the app and logging in again.
