And when you reach out to their “help” email, it gets returned as a bad email address. So frustrating! ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-08-07, version 1.2.0* I purchased this though a facebook ad for 99p! I wasn’t notified about the £6 and £20 charge they took straight after paying! ### 1/5 — It’s a con, do not download *2026-08-07, version 1.2.0* First the review you see is not for this ap you are forced to download, then they hit you with charges so far of £19.99, £3.00 and the initial £0.99 I cannot seem to contact them they just have an AI automated response referring to their dodgey T&C’s. I’ve reported to Apple and have contacted my bank. HIDDEN SUBSCRIPTION SCAM *2026-08-06, version 1.2.0* Do not sign up to this! The faces do not work, or sync with the Apple Watch app so its unusable, and after the “trial payment” you will then be charged £30 to £40 per month with NO WAY to cancel, except via email, which I have done but doubt I will receive any reply. PLEASE AVOID! ### 1/5 — STEAL YOUR MONEY *2026-08-01* BEWARE, DO NOT get this app. It does not work with Apple, per Nuvia. Even when it looks like you have the watch face, you don’t. It disappears, and will do it every time. They will tell you to make a change to allow it to be applied longer, but it will still disappear. You will not get a refund of any kind. Great concept, poor execution, poor terms of use and poor customer service. If you but this and then see all of this is true, contact your bank and do a chargeback on it. Very misleading and untrustworthy. ### 1/5 — Misleading Trial – Charged £6.99 Instead of £0.99 *2026-07-28, version 1.2.0* Very disappointing experience. I signed up because it clearly showed a £0.99 trial, but I was later charged £6.99 without realising it. I did not expect this additional charge and found the subscription process misleading. The app may work for some people, but I feel the pricing and subscription terms should be much clearer before any charges are taken. I have cancelled my subscription and would not recommend this app based on my experience. The faces are just show, not interactive in any way ### 1/5 — Avoid and report *2026-07-26, version 1.2.0* So the positive customer support are fast at responding and explaining what happened, however the current policy and what essentially is a money trap, and hidden somewhere hit the button to subscribe for 99p, then even-before downloading the app took 40 pounds off me, i was given some great non refundable promotional products that i get to keep. I probably would have bought some faces etc, however this policy is technically a scam in my opinion, I did get my subscription cancelled, I could not trust them going either forward, another compliant to apple and will see what my bank can do. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-07-25* This is a scam. I canceled my subscription and even requested a refund, yet it continues to charge me $30 every month. There is no clear or easy way to contact customer support, which is extremely frustrating. On top of that, the app doesn’t even work as advertised. The watch face I select does not stay applied and keeps changing on its own, making the app practically useless. I strongly recommend avoiding this app unless you want to risk recurring charges and poor customer service. This scam vendor charged my card $29.99 without my authorization and I want my money back. They had already charged me $6.99 for a worthless app that doesn’t work. The faces advertised are not there. This is fraud and these people should be removed as an authorized vendor. Update: after finally getting it to work, I was disappointed in the variety of faces and the clarity of some of the faces. Some of them are very drab and the 3D faces are barely noticeable. The name on my bank is hubwf.app* Xshr and when I googled it there’s hundreds of terrible reviews all saying the same thing! Why is apple allowing scammers on their App Store ### 1/5 — Beware of monthly charges *2026-08-08, version 1.2.0* I purchased the app for 29.99. I then began seeing monthly charges of 9.99! I never consented to monthly charges and was never informed of them. I intend to file a formal complaint with the FTC and the Dept of Consumer Affairs in my state. I also am aware that the company is in Cyprus and complaints can be filed with the appropriate authorities there. The different watch faces only show up on the app when i open the app on my watch. There’s no way for the selected watch face to be recognized by your phone.
