Nuwa App
The Nuwa App is a key part of the Nuwa ecosystem, which includes the Nuwa Pen, Case, and App. The Nuwa App acts as your digital notebook and assistant. Watch your handwriting come to life through digitization and convert it to typed text with our text conversion feature.

The Nuwa App features: handwriting digitization, text conversion, note augmentation, writer’s dashboard, community leaderboard, search, share/store functionality, quick summaries and more. All future features will also be added to the Nuwa app.

Free Features
The Nuwa App offers free features such as handwriting digitization, unlimited storage, search functionality, a writer’s dashboard, and shareability.

Integrations
Effortlessly export your notes as PDF or JPEG files, or copy and paste typed text transcriptions into any digital document. Nuwa integrates with over 50 popular productivity apps.

In-House Development
The Nuwa Pen and Nuwa App are developed entirely in-house. This is a collaborative project backed by Kickstarter supporters.

### 0.6.21 — 2026-07-09

Today, we're releasing the upgraded Ink Engine v0.6, the algorithm that generates your Digital Copy. It improves accuracy with better support for multi-line notes and a truer match to your original handwriting.

This release also brings:
- New firmware (v5.1.4.8) for a more stable, crash-resistant experience
- Rock-solid BLE connectivity for reliable syncing
- New modes, including Auto-Sync and Flicker Mode, giving you more control over how your pen operates 

A huge thank you to all the brave souls in alpha using the Note Report feature and sharing their feedback over email, Whatsapp and video calls!

### 0.6.19 — 2026-06-16

Just a few more fixed in the Nuwa Onboarding experience, the Note Reporting and the BLE connection. Shout out to the fearless Alpha souls for the win!

Fixed some bugs in the new Nuwa Onboarding experience. We also have new updates that improve the reliability of our Bluetooth connections and firmware updates. Thank you, as always, to the brave alpha souls!

New customers onboarding this week will have an entirely refreshed Nuwa Onboarding experience. Paired with a paper guide, you'll learn the essentials of getting the most out of the smartest pen on the planet.

The brave alpha users have also helped us squash numerous bugs, so you'll notice speed and reliability improvements in the app as well. Thank you to all the brave alpha souls!

### 0.6.15 — 2026-04-29

Two amazing updates. The first being improved transcription, thanks to Google ML Kit. The second is a much more realistic Digital Copy.
