### 5/5 — This app is GREAT!

*2025-03-11, version 2.2*

This is my preferred app to use on Apple. It’s well put together, very compact, has a lot of good tools like adding your own rule sets so you don’t forget, being able to export and keep multiple saves for different games and checking for team weaknesses. I do have a couple of suggestions to make this even better. First, I’d love to see a list of gym leaders’ teams. I do use another app to do research on gym teams but it would be helpful to have it displayed within the gym leader silhouettes. Secondly, I’d love to see a feature where you can compare your Pokemon with each other or with a gym leaders pokemon for better planning. I’d also love to see Pokémon’s battle stats like speed and attack displayed. I’m surprised they aren’t when you click on a pokemon to check their info. Other than that, this app is amazing

### 5/5 — Good for Nuzlockes

*2025-02-06, version 2.2*

been using this for a hgss nuzlocke and its been a good tool

### 5/5 — Wouldn’t nuzlock without it

*2025-01-17, version 2.2*

Most Nuzlocke I do on my phone so having an app long side to track everything is amazing. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Incredible.

*2024-11-26, version 2.1*

Truly amazing must download worth every penny for the extras.

### 5/5 — Lots of fun

*2024-10-14, version 2.1*

Makes Nuzlockes a lot of fun and easy to track

### 5/5 — Great but only Pokémon

*2024-09-26, version 2.1*

I know it’s a lot of stuff, but some gym info outside of level caps would be awesome.

Great app, very useful

### 5/5 — 😎😎😎😎😎

*2024-09-08, version 2.1*

😎🔥🔥🔥

### 5/5 — Best tracker!

*2024-08-17, version 2.1*

Amazing app, love the nickname generator and ease of use. Just wish it had gym leader info so I could check level cap without a different app!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2024-08-15, version 2.1*

This app is great and has everything I need for my SoulSilver run! Definitely would recommend!
Premium upgrade is definitely worth it too!

### 5/5 — cool app 👍

*2024-08-08, version 2.1*

very cool and useful 😎

### 5/5 — One small issue

*2024-05-29, version 2.1*

I haven’t been able to find a button to “kill” a Pokemon, and I have to delete that encounter. If you could add a button to kill the Pokémon on its stat/move screen, that would be amazing!

### 5/5 — THANK YOU NUZLOCKE GODS

*2024-05-27, version 2.1*

I’m honestly impressed by this app. Nuzlocking is such a niche hobby, and the fact that someone made such a well rounded useful tool for it is amazing. I admit, I even upgraded to the premium version (one time fee, worth every penny) All in one app I can see gym level caps, all the info I could want about my team (levels, routes, natures, team weaknesses), and upcoming encounters. It saves me so much time googling and trying to manually track everything and I don’t think I could go back to Nuzlocking without it.

Some of my favorite features:

The UI was recently updated and I love the new look, it’s so clean

You can record you rule set and edit it if needed

It keeps track of the gyms and encounters in the region you’re playing for you

EVEN THE NEWER GEN POKÉMON HAVE LITTLE PIXELATED SPRITES AND THEYRE ADORABLE

You can write notes under your Pokémon, under the different gyms, or under the run as a whole

I’ve never once had issues with lag or glitchiness

GET. THIS. APP.

### 5/5 — Great App! Suggestions:

*2024-04-22, version 2.1*

I love the app so far but I would love a few things added for it to be 100% perfect:

- An optional list of each game’s Rival/Gym/Boss fights so you know what Pokémon you’re going up against and when (as well as what moves each Pokémon knows) (this one is a must have, so we don’t have to switch between the wiki and this over and over)
- Shiny sprites
- A way to select how your Pokémon died rather than just writing it in the Pokémon’s notes, it makes the death more impactful when you get to select where and how it died
- Maybe an automatic evolve option when you level your Pokémon up in the app and it gets to the Pokémon’s evolution level? Instead of manually clicking evolve, that is
- When I select my Pokémon’s nature, there’s no way to see what stats are being increased/decreased, so maybe some little message around the nature that says what it does? (For those that don’t have natures memorized)
- Maybe some kind of list that recommends what moves a Pokémon should take? Like, when I select a Pokémon’s moves, maybe I can select from a list of the Pokémon’s most popular moves, as well as all the moves it can learn? (This one isn’t likely since it’s very subjective, but still neat for newer Nuzlocke players)
- You have a chart for weaknesses and resistances, but what about a chart that covers your offenses; a chart that covers what your typing is super affective against? (I know Pokémon can learn moves outside of their typing, but this is still useful since resistances doesn’t completely line up with what you’re super affective against)
- This one is just a pet peeve, nothing big, but I’d love a better separation between Pokémon normally caught on a route and the total list of all Pokémon in the game. Cuz right now, all that’s separating it is just a small gap. Maybe two separate pages when you select your encounter would even look good (one page is the route’s usual Pokémon and the other is the game’s total Pokémon)
-

Here are things that I love about the app:
- Different themes for those of us who don’t want just black or white :)
- Either a compact list of your Pokémon or the “Full” list, the latter of which actually shows each Pokémon’s base stats in a bar graph form (being able to see the exact numbers somewhere would be great though, just another idea)
- Being able to screenshot your progress in different formats (genius, love this so much)
- Simple format between setting, routes, encounters, and overview
- Pretty much everything else besides the additions I’d love to see. This app works great as it is for any Nuzlocke run, so great job!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Ya había comprado la versión premium de la app

*2024-02-24, version 2.0*

Ya había hecho la compra de la app premium y ahora después de la actualización me pude volver a comprarla. Necesito ayuda con esto

### 3/5 — Expensive

*2021-08-07, version 1.16*

Understand the need for money but $12 is just too much I’ll just use the herokuapp Nuzlocke instead or use the free version because the free version still has enough features

### 4/5 — Amazing App for Nuzlocke!

*2025-11-08, version 2.2*

If you’re looking to spend less time on notes and keeping track of your progress in a nuzlocke, this app is nearly perfect! A little hiccupy on performance, but what is offered is pretty much exactly what you want!

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2025-11-06, version 2.2*

It's a great Nuzlocke manager, and is a helpful tool. My only complaint is that some features are locked behind a paywall.

### 4/5 — Nuzlock

*2025-07-07, version 2.2*

I Must Say i love the App Its really helps a lot to keep Track, but it would be nice ive you could the Trainer encounters.

### 4/5 — App is wonderful but…

*2025-03-05, version 2.2*

The App has been so helpful over the last week or two but the problem I have is without a 6 dollar subscription I can’t have more than one run going at a time so if I want to hop from run to run on different games (which I do a lot because I get bored) I have to delete all my progress and re enter it when I come back again and again I understand it’s a free app and should definitely have the option for a subscription but I would like to at least be able to have 2 or 3 runs at once rather than just one other than that the app is so detailed and amazing it even tells u what natures do and is updated to the most recent games which is amazing

### 4/5 — Very useful app

*2025-01-19, version 2.2*

Not sure how to mark pokemon as dead though?

### 4/5 — Love this app

*2024-12-02, version 2.1*

Really handy app to have for your run!

### 4/5 — Really good

*2024-11-11, version 2.1*

I am a big fan of this App, it is very helpful.

I would just add how the Pokémon evolve and which level they evolve.

And you should add when pokemon learn which move on which Level.

### 4/5 — Sup

*2024-01-15, version 1.28*

You can add the Paldea DLC now LOL.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App

This app is easy to use and very helpful for beginner nuzlocke players like myself.

### 5/5 — Great app… encounters please

*2026-03-18, version 2.2*

Love the app! However I would love to see encounters listed so I’m able to prep the best team to take them on. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-02-28, version 2.2*

Really great to be able to track. Put as much or as little info as you want. Someone with Autism or ADHD would love this app event more

### 5/5 — Great app! Just missing a little more oomf!

*2025-11-14, version 2.2*

I appreciate that it’s clean, offline, and useful! what could take it to the next level is more in-game data… let’s say trainer teams, move sets & enemy encounters. Could save me the trip to another website to figure out if the next trainer battle could wipe out my team!

### 5/5 — nice

*2025-10-08, version 2.2*

very nifty app, i like it

### 5/5 — buena app

*2025-08-11, version 2.2*

### 5/5 — TSG

*2025-06-29, version 2.2*

Extremely fun and immersive play-style i absolutely love mix matching pokemon teams

### 5/5 — Best one we have atm

*2025-06-21, version 2.2*

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2025-05-23, version 2.2*

This app is so helpful! I love being able to track where I was even after a few months of not playing! I would recommend.

### 5/5 — Great App, but some easy opportunities to be top tier

*2025-05-05, version 2.2*

This app is wonderful if your into nuzlocking. It does everything you need. I think the only things I’d like to see added are routes for some of the hacked roms with appropriate level caps. And maybe a comparison option.

But for a convenient tracker and ease of use it’s really the only mobile app that does it.

So close to greatness!
