I don’t like how quickly it moves. I don’t like there isn’t an option to change the speed. I’ve tried just using the bar to stop and go, but it’s too jerky. Please, please change it back. Otherwise, this is where I check my weather forecast…forget any other app! ### 2/5 — Ads Ads Ads *2026-06-05, version 6.2.512* The full screen splash ads at every turn ruin an otherwise decent weather app. There’s banner ads too, that should suffice. You don’t need to block the screen, especially during severe weather. ### 2/5 — So. Slow. *2023-06-03, version 5.8.501* When it actually matters and there is weather, the past and future cast stalls. I get it if it’s cellular but in WiFi? No excuse. Tired of all the good weather apps getting bought and nerfed and we are stuck with these lackluster ones. ### 2/5 — entirely too video heavy *2023-04-04, version 5.7.405* this is a mobile app. having graphics and charts would suffice. not a fan of constantly having to load a video - wait for an add just to see a forecast ### 2/5 — Video ads are a deal breaker *2020-10-13, version 5.0.1001* This has been the most accurate forecast app I’ve used. The pop up ads were annoying but a quick swipe and they were gone. The new mandatory video ads however are a step too far. If I need forecast data RIGHT NOW I can’t, I have to sit through video ads. What If it were an emergency? I get the bill need to be paid, and showing still ads would be a fine compromise. But this... Sorry, Dan. I’m out. I’ll get my weather data elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Animated radar crashes constantly *2015-11-17, version 2.13.0* Anytime you attempt to add storm tracks the radar crashes. Won't even stay up long enough to use. Been this way for over a month. Works on iPad but not iPhones Stick with Weatherbug. ### 3/5 — Good, but can be improved (especially for ipad) *2014-04-01, version 2.2.0* The app says it is for ipad, but most sections are optimized for iphone. Maps and forecast screens cover just a third of the screen. The content is rich though. Has everything that you will expect from a weather app, including a live stream (during severe weather only). Make up your minds. Do you want to provide an app the shows us the weather or Ads? 27 JUN 2026: surprising that you don’t show us ads for disaster recovery for those who couldn’t see the weather info because of the obscuring ads. ### 1/5 — Ads Ads Ads *2021-03-11, version 5.1.605* The app is good and the info is good but the ads that pop up and obscure everything make it a non-stater for me. I would almost be willing to pay to avoid... but then again, maybe not. ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE - FLOODED WITH ADS REDIRECTS *2020-10-14, version 5.0.1001* HAD TO DELETE IT. Obnoxious ads, multiple redirects, trying to make money on ad clicks and in no way trying to provide a service to local viewers. The last tornado warning we were under, they didn’t even provide the local weather... basically makes the app worthless.. ### 1/5 — Better have WiFi *2020-01-11, version 4.10.2000* When it matters the most and there’s a cloud in the sky, this app is so busy with junk it won’t load if your on cellular. I’ve not once gotten a “live” report. Sunny day forecast is great but if there is stormy weather you might as well just look out the window. I’ve needed it to work several times in severe weather with plenty of signal and the app has let me down. every. single. time :-( ### 1/5 — Clickbait and Bugs *2019-05-21, version 4.8.300* Crashes and way too many notifications that don’t matter. Example - Gives notifications for counties in Oklahoma when they have a tornado warning. I don’t mind seeing that in the app because it’s our region, but don’t send notifications. Also get meaningless notifications like, “Will the storms stay in the forecast? Click to see!” Uninstalling. ### 1/5 — Annoying ”teaser” notifications *2019-05-16, version 4.8.300* Find another option!! Frequent notifications all of which are just unimportant teaser questions from Melissa and Dan. Ex: “Will this heat continue or does the weekend bring us a cool down? Click here to find out -Dan”. These pointless and very annoying notifications are always signed from either Melissa or Dan...they spam you several times a day! It’s unnecessary and rude. It’s literally made me not like them anymore. Weather related notifications should only be used for communicating important ACTUAL weather related news. ### 1/5 — Crash crash crash *2016-11-13, version 3.6.0* Newest update won't open without crashing. ### 1/5 — Update keeps crashing *2016-11-12, version 3.6.0* Most recent update keeps crashing. ### 1/5 — Unreliable!! *2015-12-26, version 2.13.0* First, you have to watch a commercial THEN the live stream doesn't work. I just want to use the horizontal scroll for the hourly ON THE HOME tab! It’s like it’s off by a few hours or so.
