How about bookmark? Because if you cannot read the entire paper in one sitting and come back to it you have to find what page you left off on. Not all articles are linked to audio. Not all articles open to scroll to read and sometimes you just have to pinch to make the font big enough like on a picture. ### 1/5 — Does not function properly *2026-03-16* The app does not function properly. Articles that are “unavailable”. Audio stops mid article, then you have to scroll to the top to get to the audio control, then it starts at the beginning again. Audio words regularly mis-pronounced, for example “read” is never past tense even when it should be, and anything with a double F, such as “effort” or “difference”. And now I’m getting ads on the app, which is why I stopped listening online. The amount I pay for a subscription has gone up more than five times in a year such that the price is outweighing the product I’m receiving. ### 2/5 — Often glitches *2026-03-02* The audio will often stop mid article. When you hit play it starts again from the beginning. The play button is at the top of the article, so if you are reading along and want to pause you have to swipe back up to the top to find the button. You cannot press on a word to look up a definition, you have to go to a different app to type in the word. ### 2/5 — new user *2025-09-10* trying to read can be frustrating when the site won't allow the separate reading window to open on many stories and the size control of pages is terribly erratic increasing the page hugely when trying to activate the reading window and failing to activate the reader. the Chicago Tribune's e-paper is much better in operation **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback.
