This app is perfect both locally and nationally whether you’re a spotter, chaser, or someone who wants to check the weather by getting the information from NOAA and other affiliates such as the NWS and SPC if you prefer a mobile app for that. I love the widget for the Lock Screen above the clock! One feature suggestion I would add is give users the option to receive alerts only for the preferred area or their currently location if possible! Very in-depth and accurate forecasts for my area provided by NWS. A lot of ads going on in the free version (I know it’s free, but there’s like, a LOT of ads. Some of which are full screen). Also, I would recommend reducing the font size on some items or adjusting the layout. In particular, in the Forecast screen the text was doing some odd things on my iPhone 15 Pro. For example, the y in Wednesday was wrapping down to the next line. Should probably be previewed on different size phone screens to see how the layout reacts. The app has primarily been tested on an iPhone SE Gen 3. ### 3/5 — Weather radar *2024-06-02, version 5.3* Radar could use work while animating. Unfortunately, there is no pollen data from NOAA (the National Weather Service), so there is no way for me to display that data without paying someone else for it. ### 4/5 — Looks good so far *2025-01-08* Haven’t had any actual alerts yet, and I’m still getting used to the app, but it seems pretty comprehensive. I’ll see how it acts when WX alerts are issued as that’s my main want. Need landscape mode as I use wall mounted iPads in LS for home automation and it would be nice to have it in landscape. It’s not going to replace my other weather apps without that. On iPhone it’s not an issue as that’s portrait mode use mostly. **Developer response:** Landscape mode will be featured in 8.0.0 (update should be out sometime before November 15th). Along with optimizations for portrait mode on iPad devices. Today there are several storms but nothing shows up. Even zooming in and out it won’t load anything. I’ve given it time to load and still most of the time nothing. Either zoomed in or on a zoomed out map of the states. I have great signal and great WiFi. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Even at that this is still my favorite weather app. Would purchase full version if I can figure out the radar. **Developer response:** Hi, Thank you for your review. I am aware of some issues with radar on the iOS version. While I work on a fix, pressing the "Adv. Mode" link and then selecting Base Reflectivity will provide the best look at realtime storms.
