My one complaint is still that the deposit feature is very picky. When I asked customer service what gives, the implication was that I was doing something wrong, or the app had not been updated on my device. No one in customer service seemed to understand that the mobile deposit drop down menu on the ipad just does not exist. Not only that, but mobile deposit on the iphone is clunky, rarely works properly, often taking several tries before the photo of the check is recognized. I use mobile deposit frequently at another bank using their much more streamlined app, where it is rare to get a rejection. The bill pay feature at NWSB went from being adequate to horrendous once the bank was bought out by ACNB. If it were not for the fact that I have a business account with NWSB, and in person staff at my local NWSB are so awesome, I would have closed my accounts and transferred elsewhere long ago. As it is, my personal NWSB account is only used as a conduit to transfer money from my business account to another bank with better mobile banking apps. Update: as of July 2020: After months of back and forth with customer service, the bank finally acknowledged that the app version for iPad doesn't have a check deposit capability. And no promises to fix it. July 10 update: now the mobile deposit faerie stopped working ### 1/5 — Lots of glitches *2019-12-29, version 2.0.5409* Mobile deposit works half the time every time. However they need to put a little more effort into their app development or give up all together. The app frequently will not show any accounts listed, crash in the middle of working or constantly require ‘verification’. I recommend the Bank and their online capabilities. Fees are minimal if you don’t meet the requirements unlike bigger institutions. I’ve never had an issue with the use of my debit card no matter where I’m at. The information it provides is outstanding for all of the accounts I use. I use 4 banking apps and the NWSB is far superior.
