### 4/5 — Link to Bible

*2026-04-16, version 6.3.9*

I used to be able to press the reading for the day and it go straight to the Bible. After an update, it no longer does that. What happened?

### 4/5 — New Update is Ok

*2025-02-27, version 6.3.8*

Lost where I was after several years. But still opens in the app!

### 4/5 — Loving the app but…

*2025-02-24, version 6.3.5*

Really motiving to have an app that helps you read chronologically, have loved using it.
But since the latest update I can no longer get it to open in JW Library to see my personal notes. Help!

### 4/5 — Not thrilled with new update

*2025-02-23*

No longer opens in JW library app. Goes to the website. Lost where I was after several years.

**Developer response:** Hi Locora,

Thank you for letting me know. I'm really sorry for the issue you're experiencing. In some cases, importing settings from the legacy app didn't work as expected. A fixed version has been published today. I hope you can remember and restore your progress. The scriptures now open in the JW Library® app.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. If you need further assistance, please let us know.

### 4/5 — Great App! Not opening in JW Lib on ipad 🤷‍♂️

*2024-04-12, version 5.0.0*

Great app! On my iphone the app opens in JW Lib. On my ipad it only opens in wol/jw.org. I have deleted the app several times and reinstalled. Also shut down ipad and restarted. What else can I try? (Ipad is up to date running ios 17.3.1)

### 5/5 — I absolutely LOVE this app!

*2024-03-01, version 5.0.0*

I can finally be taken to specific scriptures in reading the Bible chronologically and have just that portion read to me, among other features of this wonderful app! The only things missing are a backup option and an Android version. Otherwise, great app brother!

### 5/5 — Perfect Bible Reading Schedule

*2024-02-10, version 5.0.0*

Personally love the notes and location details. Works perfectly. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app! Love the chronological option!

*2023-09-12, version 5.0.0*

This is a great app and has supported my daily Bible reading! I would like to suggest making adjustments to the chronological placements of James and Hebrews. Both are out of order. James was written nearer to the year 62 and Hebrews 61. Overall, a wonderful app! Thank you so much!

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2023-01-04, version 4.1.1*

A few things for me. The app itself:I I’m color blind and the colors used by the app make it difficult to read, and the text is a tad too small. A text slider and dark mode would help greatly. Also, I’d love to be able to set the start date myself, I’m very particular about starting on Jan 1, I just discovered the app and makes it hard to know exactly what date I’m on with the way the schedule automatically starts currently.

### 5/5 — So helpful

*2022-01-06, version 4.1.1*

This tracker is so helpful. I’ve enjoyed doing the chronological order and love the ability to choose my goal for completion. The indicator for what you need to read today to catch up is a great feature.

Feature requests:
*Synchronization between my iPhone and my iPad
*Split screen capability on iPad
*Dark mode

### 5/5 — good potential

*2021-10-19, version 4.1.1*

a really good app, but would be better with additional options such as read a chapter a day, also a tick box or icon added to the calendar to show when you've done the reading for the day to help you keep track

### 5/5 — Danke für die App

*2021-05-15, version 4.1.1*

Die ist einfach genial! Danke für die Arbeit, ich werde jetzt einen neuen anlauf starten die Bibel in einem Jahr zu lesen.

### 5/5 — Really useful Study Aid

*2021-03-12, version 4.1.1*

This unofficial app is a wonderful study aid which helps with personal Bible study. There are lots of Bible Study apps available but it’s so nice to have one that links to the NWT and JW Library. What is more, there are no ads and it’s completely free to use, unlike some other unofficial JW apps just trying to make money from copyrighted material! Thank you to the developers, this app does exactly what I have been looking for.

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2021-02-25, version 4.1.1*

It help me with my daily Bible reading and keep track of my progress. Thanks to Jehovah and thank you for your time and effort in developing and maintaining this wonderful app.

### 1/5 — update makes it useless

*2025-02-22*

I’ve been using this app for years. Sometimes it got confusing when it was time to start over, but I always figured it out.
So when I saw the update I was glad, I thought it would make it easier. But it’s more confusing than ever. And no dates.
Did you know that today is the 195th day of the year? I sure don’t keep track of my life this way.
This app is useless for me now.
Oh, and there is no app support. Try the link. If anyone knows how to uninstall this update, let me know.

**Developer response:** Hi Tyrrha,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback and for being a long-time user of the app. I sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration the recent update has caused. I really appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention.

I'm happy to let you know that I've addressed the issue you mentioned about the missing dates in release 6.3.9, which is currently being rolled out. You should see the dates return very soon.

I also fixed the support link, and I apologize for the inconvenience. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to email me directly at support@searchwork.org. Alternatively, you can post your questions or concerns on our discussion forum at https://github.com/searchwork/nwt-reading/discussions.

I understand how important it is for the app to be user-friendly, and I'm committed to making improvements. Thank you again for your patience and understanding as I work to make the app better for everyone.

### 1/5 — Daily schedule

*2020-08-27, version 3.2.0*

It’s gone what happened? It’s starting in August. Don’t like this. I liked what I had

### 2/5 — Enjoyed but erased

*2020-08-25, version 3.0.1*

I was thoroughly enjoying using this app.
But yesterday it completely erased my already schedule and started me all over again

### 3/5 — Update Not Good

*2025-02-27, version 6.3.9*

I love this app but ever since the update, it has made my Bible reading scheduled reading more difficult. I have been reading the Bible from cover to cover every year for the past 14 years. This is my first time using the app. I start with Genesis 1:1 on January 1st every year. When the app was updated, my target date got moved. This is because I am a little ahead of schedule. Now I had to turn off the target date because it was showing that my new target date was earlier than December 31st. I get a little ahead in order to compensate for times that I may not get to it daily. I would like it if you could allow the user to set a target date. There are many in my congregation using this app and now they are all calling me upset because they are experiencing the same issues as I do. Sincerely, M Dumais

### 3/5 — Good….but….

*2024-01-01, version 5.0.0*

I wanted something to track my daily Bible reading. This app is great because it opened up my JW Library app and super easy to use!! But the tracking and schedule need an overhaul. I’d love to be able to set my start day manually and set my end date manually. I just finished my yearly Bible reading yesterday 12/31, and after check off my 1/01/24 Bible reading, it changed the completion date from 1/01/24 back to 12/31/23? Not sure why; and it now says my completion date for 2024 is 12/28/24. Not sure what’s going on with that, but it’s definitely not keeping a yearly schedule as well as I thought. But overall it’s the best tracker out there.

Would love to see a bit larger text and a dark mode, the colors mess with me a lot and it’s can be hard to read.

### 3/5 — Glitch?

*2022-06-16, version 4.1.1*

App doesn't open scriptures in JW Library, I am taken to JW org instead! How do I fix?

### 3/5 — Love this app but.....

*2020-08-25, version 3.0.1*

Great app beautiful design but it was allowing me to have 3 month plan and that has disappeared along with the progress I checked off.

### 3/5 — NOT WORKING ON iOS 10.3...

*2019-10-20, version 1.3.1*

Will not open on my iPhone 5 (iOS 10+) and yet compatibility says requires iOS 9.0 and later. Please fix this issue. Thanks. Otherwise I've been looking for this app for my Bible reading schedule.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it!!!!!

*2026-01-02, version 6.3.9*

It’s so organized! Can’t imagine the time that went into this! In the future could it be done to where if you have already started a schedule you can just put where you want to start from and continue from there in chronological order.

### 5/5 — I’m not. Jehovahs Witness

*2025-04-17, version 6.3.9*

Great way to follow scripture and glean understanding when reading in chronologically.

I had one question: what are all of the references underneath each day’s readings? Are these from past Watchtower articles? If they are to help add insight to the reading I would be interested in reading further.

### 5/5 — New and improved

*2025-03-12, version 6.3.9*

This app had been very helpful for reading the Bible in one year. But this new revision is even better. I like the chronological reading. In this app revision, I like that I can start a specific day’s reading even if I don’t have time to finish it all. I can just check off the parts I did finish. Very nice!

### 5/5 — Notification

*2025-02-26, version 6.3.8*

If i could get the notification or a reminder of the chapter i’m reading that would be nice! 🙏🏽

### 5/5 — My Favorite Bible Reading App

*2025-02-22, version 6.3.5*

Love the many available options and plans. However since latest update no option to use in JW Library App anymore. Please fix! Thanks

### 5/5 — The best bible schedule app

*2024-12-24, version 5.0.2*

Love it. The “continue as” feature is not visible in the settings on both my iPad and iPhone (iOS 18.1.2). Are you able to resolve this issue please?

### 5/5 — Aktuelle Schwierigkeit

*2024-12-09, version 5.0.1*

Super App, vielen Dank. In der aktuellen Version funktionieren bei mir leider alle Links nicht. Ich kann die zu lesenden Kapitel nicht öffnen. Das einzige was funktioniert ist, den Tag als gelesen abzuhaken.

### 5/5 — love this app

*2024-12-09, version 5.0.1*

one thing i just discovered is the timeline: wow, it’s so great 😍 one thing i’d suggest is making it so you can start at any book in the bible. really well done and thanks so much!

### 5/5 — AWESOME 🤩

*2024-11-19, version 5.0.0*

The APP works Perfectly. It meets all JW.Org copyright and privacy rules, because it uses LINKS rather than embedding content inside the APP!
If only MORE APPS were as smooth and functional as this one. (Read WT study for Nov 17/2024)

### 5/5 — Outstanding app! (Just one suggestion…)

*2024-09-13, version 5.0.0*

Absolutely love this app! Love the hyperlink to JW Library and timelines. As a suggestion, Psalm 119 was likely written by Hezekiah when he was a prince. It might be a good idea to place it higher in the chronological order. Also, Psalm 44 was likely written in the days of King Hezekiah and should likely be placed later the chronological order. And Psalm 7 is likely regarding Shimei’s words to David, occurring later in the record. Not a criticism at all, just a suggestion. Thanks so much!
