### 2/5 — Needs enhancements for additional photos

*2022-10-24, version 1.3.0*

Second sides and additional cards needs to be able to be included for vaccines. I cant believe this is not here yet

### 2/5 — Needs updating for 5th shot!

*2022-10-07, version 1.3.0*

They need to make it possible to add another vaccine page - now that people can have a 5th shot, that info appears on the other side of the vaccine card. Right now the app can just accept one side of the card.

### 4/5 — Reverse of vaccine card

*2022-09-28, version 1.3.0*

The back of the card has spaces for boosters but the app doesn't allow one to upload a photo of the reverse side of the card where boosters are recorded. I loaded the photo in the test space but while it retains the photo it shows up as expired. Need to update the app to show photos of more than one vaccine card photo per person.

### 2/5 — Won’t allow 2 photos

*2022-07-13, version 1.3.0*

For my 2nd booster, they had to use an additional vaccine card because my other was full. Similarly, for my daughter’s 2nd shot we forgot to bring her vaccine card, so they put it on a 2nd card. This app doesn’t allow one to add multiple photos for the same person.

### 3/5 — Confused by App content

*2022-01-28*

I’m travelling to USA in April with an Antigen Covid19 test taken day before travel. This is acceptable under USA Entry Requirements but this App recommended by British Airways only refers to a PCR test taken within the last 7 days. Does that mean the negative Antigen test results are not acceptable in NYC establishments?

### 4/5 — Please add option for 2nd photo

*2022-01-25, version 1.3.0*

Love the app - it’s simple and does the job. One suggested improvement - some venues require proof of booster. That proof was put on the back of my vax card. I’d like to be able to upload two pics of my vax card to the app for this purpose.

### 3/5 — Test result

*2022-01-25*

Tested positive in December, now infectious clear but don’t need to carry out testing for 90 days per USA CDC guidelines. App doesn’t allow you to show evidence that you have had Covid and completed 10 days isolation. Travelling to NYC in Feb from UK and advised to use this app but it isn’t going to be beneficial for us as is.

### 2/5 — Cant add child even though it appears as an option

*2021-12-30, version 1.3.0*

I see the developers were able to add a child tab a few weeks ago into the app but the name field won’t let you edit so you really cannot add the child after all.

### 3/5 — Nice app, room for improvement.

*2021-12-13, version 1.3.0*

This app is very simple to use basic and does the job however it would be nice if it would include loading these documents into your wallet so everything’s in one place.

### 3/5 — Password not required

*2021-11-14, version 1.0.3*

Please make it optional to have to use passcode to open app. Often my mask is on when I use it so I have to input the passcode.

Risk of misuse is minimal.

### 2/5 — Needs AstraZeneca

*2021-11-13*

Simple, but needs AstraZeneca and other vaccines that are recognised by the CDC for entry to the USA and in many venues, but not on this app.
Makes you a “I confirm this information is accurate” in order to upload the certificate, so puts you in an awkward position, given that this is the preferred app for NYC venues.

### 3/5 — How do you add to your apple wallet?

*2021-11-08, version 1.0.3*

I can’t figure out how to add my card to the apple wallet using this app. I don’t see any options

### 4/5 — An App that’s useful

*2021-11-02, version 1.0.3*

I down loaded this App, after using the NYS app. All the info you need to show someone is in one place and is easy to read and can be updated with boosters and negative Covid test results.
Carrying a large paper card that looks dog-eared in no time is useless. Couldn't they have made it credit card sized and a little more durable. This is a critical piece of personal info that has to be taken out of your wallet, like a drivers license.

### 1/5 — International travellers’ vaccines not included

*2021-10-25*

Unfortunately this is a very low-tech application.

Simply stores photographs of paper documents.

No possibility to link electronic records or even choose vaccines outside of the USA (e.g. AstraZeneca)

New York is an international hub and after 8th November will be even more and varied vaccines to list.

### 3/5 — Add 3rd dose section as optional

*2021-10-17, version 1.0.2*

1) Add 3rd dose section as optional for those having received their Booster Shots

2) Also allow 1st / 2nd dose dates to be September-October 2020 (many of us were in the Moderna or Pfizer clinical trials, and mid-December 2020 is the earliest date we can choose as our 2nd dose).

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — NYC Covid app is outdated and useless.

*2022-11-29, version 1.3.1*

I am supposed to present my Covid tests and boosters to be at a recording of a late night talk show. This app doesn’t allow for any booster information and I have had two.

I went to Africa with the state of California app which shows every shot taken including date, mfg, vial number etc.

I also got GoGetDoc. It lets you put in all the data you have as well.

The show requires this app, NHS app (I do t live in the UK), Canadian app. Perhaps you could fix it? Folks travel to NYC from outside the state

### 1/5 — App needed for child under 17

*2022-02-06, version 1.3.0*

My daughters are under 17 and need the app to enter certain venues, especially during school trips and family events. I’m not sure how NYC expects children under 17 to show proof at these venues but then prevents them from having access to such an important app.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2021-12-09, version 1.3.0*

I uploaded my vaccine and Id. Used it in September and November and today when I opened the app, my data was gone! I needed my card and ID and for whatever reason it cleared my data. Awful implementation!

### 1/5 — Latest update cleared the data

*2021-12-09, version 1.2.0*

The latest update cleared the photo data that was already saved months ago

### 1/5 — Useless?

*2021-11-22, version 1.0.6*

It’s not the excelsior pass and there’s no verification or special features or anything. Can’t even add to passbook. It just stored a photo of my drivers license and vaccine card. I could just show that from my photos app for the same effect. I am honestly now worried only exists to collect my data and just deleted.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t support AstraZeneca

*2021-11-14*

Can’t use as does not support AstraZeneca

### 1/5 — Pointless for non US resident

*2021-11-13*

Asked by BA to use the app. Yet the really low quality app doesn’t list anything other than 3 vaccines choices. AZ not here, so essentially pointless

### 1/5 — Missing WHO EUL vaccines

*2021-11-12*

The NYC.gov list has four other vaccines that are acceptable including AstraZeneca. If this app is meant for international visitors it is not currently fit for purpose.

### 1/5 — Vaccines

*2021-11-10*

AstraZeneca is not listed under the vaccines. So I will be unable to use the App during my trip to USA. Will this be updated?

### 1/5 — Not all Vaccines covered

*2021-11-04*

App only allows 3 Vaccines to be selected, not all WHO approved vaccines

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2022-02-21, version 1.3.0*

I love this app because it’s makes it very easy
to be able to show your vaccination card and id though one app when you go to places that you need your proof of vaccination and id to enter since most places now days require your proof of vaccination everyway you go nowadays without having to show your vaccination card on a different app and then having to look for my id to show along with my vaccination card. I will definitely recommend this app to all my friends that I have that are on already useing this app to store your vaccination card on this app.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2022-02-07, version 1.3.0*

This app made our trip SO easy. We were in the city for the weekend with four kids (two ours and two friends). We went to a Broadway show and out to restaurants. The app made it all so easy! I’d uploaded everyone’s vaccine cards. Clearly businesses know the app, and it made vaccine verification so simple.

### 5/5 — Outside of NY

*2021-12-17, version 1.3.0*

I live in FL and since my state leaders don’t care about Covid-19 I am using this app to make my vaccine card look a little more official for when I travel outside the U.S.

### 5/5 — Everything you need in one app!

*2021-12-11*

Just got back to England from New York. I was asked for my proof of vaccination or ID in every bar and restaurant we visited. This app is great for this you just upload a screenshot of your passport and vaccination certificate it’s that easy!

### 5/5 — AstraZeneca now added

*2021-11-30*

Not sure on the previous reviews but I’ve just downloaded this app and added all my details and all the options are on here now.

### 5/5 — This app protects me from the virus

*2021-10-09, version 1.0.2*

Guys omg this virus is so dangerous I’m so glad they developed an app to keep me safe from a airborne virus that has a 98% survival rate I’m On my way! To get my 5th booster shot for the new MU variant hooray.

### 5/5 — Simply perfect

*2021-09-30, version 1.0.2*

Even used this app in Europe and made life a lot easier. No idea why anyone would not see this as simply perfect

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2021-09-22, version 1.0.1*

For us parents add a part to add students ID or photo of the child of not school age plus there vaccine cards for multiple children.

Maybe even a spot for the wife who needs to carry the husbands because he always forgets lol

### 5/5 — Convenient

*2021-09-18, version 1.0.1*

I don’t know what people expect but this app does what it’s supposed to do. It stores your Covid-19 info in an app so that it’s conveniently located & can be quickly accessed. I find it to be perfect for my needs.

### 5/5 — Astrazeneca

*2021-09-13, version 1.0.1*

Can the option of astrazeneca vaccine be included?
