## What is NYC Live?

New York, at a glance. NYC Live brings a live transit map and a personal departures board together, so you can see what is moving and decide when to head out.

YOUR CITY ON ONE MAP
Explore subway services, estimated train positions, reported buses, Citi Bike availability, traffic, equipment outages and published NYC 311 reports. Turn layers on when you need them. Check weather and modelled air quality alongside the map.

KNOW WHEN TO LEAVE
Choose a subway station and direction, set your walking time, and see upcoming departures with a leave-by suggestion. Predictions change as service changes; source freshness stays visible.

KEEP YOUR STATIONS CLOSE
Save the stations you use, switch between them, and keep your direction and walking preferences on your device. No account required.

MADE FOR YOUR SCREEN
Use a compact map on iPhone, open map and departures side by side on iPhone Duo and iPad, or keep a native city dashboard on your Mac. Light and dark appearances follow your system.

HONEST ABOUT LIVE DATA
Subway positions are estimates, buses and bike docks are reported observations, and air quality is modelled. Provider delays and service changes can affect what you see. Expired data is identified or hidden; always check official service notices when travelling.

NYC Live is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the MTA, Citi Bike or the City of New York. An internet connection is required for live updates. Location is optional and requested only when you press the location button.
