## What is Nymo Contacts?

Nymo makes every contact easy to find — in the language you actually type.

Your contacts are saved in Hebrew, but you search in English? Nymo adds a translated nickname to the contacts you choose, so the search bar, Siri, and CarPlay finally understand who you mean. The original name never changes.

WHY NYMO
• Search "Mom" and find אמא — no keyboard switching
• "Hey Siri, call Mom Mobile" — Siri finds the nickname
• Works both ways: Hebrew → English and English → Hebrew
• You approve every change before anything is written
• Undo the whole batch anytime

CLEAN UP DUPLICATES
Nymo also finds duplicate contacts on your iPhone. Exact copies can be cleaned in bulk — one unchanged iCloud card is kept in every group — and possible matches are listed for your review. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, and you can skip any group you want left alone.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking
• Scanning happens on your iPhone
• Only the names you choose are sent for translation — never numbers, emails, photos, or notes
• Nothing is stored on our servers

Made for anyone who lives in two languages.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-31

Nymo now records anonymous usage statistics — which screens are opened, and how many names a run covers — so we can see where the app helps and where it gets in the way.

No contact names or details are ever included, and nothing is linked to you. Your contacts stay on your iPhone, exactly as before.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-29

Faster translations, and a progress bar you can actually read.

• Names are now sent three batches at a time instead of one after another, so a large translation finishes in a fraction of the time.
• The progress bar moves steadily from the moment you start, instead of sitting at zero and then jumping.
• If the connection hiccups mid-run, Nymo tells you it's retrying and recovers in seconds rather than minutes.
• Contacts are saved in groups, so the final step is close to instant.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-27

Translating is now one step: tap Translate and your nicknames are written right away, with a new results screen where you can review, edit, save, or undo every name.

• Uncertain translations wait for your approval — nothing is saved until you accept it
• Every change ever made can be undone, not just the last run
• Bulk translate in both directions, Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew
• Clearer progress for large batches
• Reliability fixes for locked-device caching

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-26

Reliability fixes for large translation runs:
• Translations now keep working when your iPhone is locked mid-run.
• Nymo automatically retries when the translation service is briefly busy, so long runs no longer stop on a temporary error.
• Your progress is always kept — if anything is interrupted, translating again picks up right where you left off.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-25

• Translation now keeps running when you switch to another app — leave Nymo mid-run and come back to finished results
• The translate buttons are always visible on the home screen, no scrolling needed
• Faster selection: one tap on "Select all" grabs every name shown, or start with just the first 25
• A cleaner Choose Names screen — the details moved into an info tip
• Bug fixes and polish
