This is a serious issue. The app is intended for use in emergency medical situations. If you don’t know specifically what protocol(s) your patient’s issue may fall under, you can not search for it if you have an Apple phone. The developer website and support functions are nonexistent at this time. ### 2/5 — The search function *2020-05-16, version 2.2* The protocol search function (search bar at the top) has not worked for years. For example if you are looking for the pain management protocol. And type “pain” in the search all you get are the cardiac arrest protocols. ### 2/5 — Please fix the search! *2020-02-04, version 2.2* This is a great resource for the content but search does not work in the current version and the topics are not ordered alphabetically. This makes it hard to use as a resource on a real call because you cannot find information quickly. Just replaced my old IPhone 7 with a brand new IPhone 14 with IOS 17.0.3 . I can no longer use this App. It worked great with old Iphone but not anymore. When I select anything the program quits. Until the developers fix the bugs with the latest IOS operating system it is useless . An otherwise excellent App which I hope to be using again soon . ### 1/5 — Outdated protocols *2023-02-22, version 2.2* PLEASE DO NOT USE TO TREAT PATIENTS - these protocols are at least two generations out of date at this point. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-02-20, version 2.2* I would love if this app actually worked. I can change the region but that’s it. If I try to tap anything else it force closes. The rest of the options shut the app down when you click on them. All EMS providers should have a copy of their regional protocols like this on their devices, and it should be available offline. This could be accomplished with a downloadable PDF file, but the crucial advantage of this app is having constant access to new and updated protocols without having to re-download the entire thing. So far the app has been very stable for me. A very useful tool for NY EMS. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2014-10-09, version 1.1* UI is nice, easy to navigate tabs. Not listed for medical control ### 4/5 — Good app... one big problem. *2019-05-24, version 2.2* It’s 2019 so this is the go to source for protocol questions. It’s a decent app. Big free. Smooth. Easily accessible information. The one big issue is there is no update information for when protocols are changed. The region is famous for changing things without any of us peasants on the streets even knowing. Could be a simple change like a drug is now available IN as well as IV/IM... or it could be a big one like facilitated intubation being completely removed from our protocols.
