Because my expectation was that if this was designed in conjunction w/NYS it would be inclusive of ALL NYS COVID CARD FORMATS, including BOOSTER. My CDC COVID card and booster DON’T have barcodes so it’s no good for me and my & family. So what’s the point of this app? @NYS.gov, If it doesn’t help all of us, it shouldn’t be up at all. Things surrounding COVID are sooo TENUOUS. Why make this app that way too? However, it now implies boosters are REQUIRED every 6 months. This is not my understanding or my doctors recommendation. I can’t over-ride the expiration date using “pass plus” because of the poor design and poor directions. So, without getting 2nd booster in the 5th month after last booster I show expired! THIS IS DANGEROUS - PLEASE RESPOND with a fix to this glitch? Thank you! ### 3/5 — Needs Booster update *2021-12-14, version 2.5.0* I wasted time thinking I wasn’t doing something correctly. It turns out I cannot enter my booster shot info. Otherwise this is a great idea. ### 3/5 — Booster shot *2021-12-02, version 2.5.0* I got my booster shot 11/05/2021. The notification said that it should be available to add 4-5 days after. Well, multiple attempts, after waiting a week, and as of today the booster information is still not available. As was stated in another review if you can’t get booster information, and boosters are going be a yearly think, excelsior passport isn't worth downloading. ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Easy to use app! *2021-04-14, version 1.0.3* Just downloaded app and added my wife’s and my pass to both our phones. Each pass shows expiration dates in mid-Sept 2021 and currently it’s mid-April and that’s perfectly fine with me. Expiration dates make perfect sense to me as experts learn more about the the virus, vaccine effectiveness period and if a booster shot update if needed. I don’t expect a “Lifetime Pass” like other app raters apparently do. ### 4/5 — Thumbs up *2021-05-14, version 1.1.0* Works like a charm pass are for 4 months long will be needed if they lift the mask mandate ### 4/5 — Fails on Apple Watch Wallet Scans *2021-04-29, version 1.0.3* The QR Code that the Excelsior Pass (NYS Wallet) produces is so large that some squares get squished down on the Apple Watch to rectangles or even smaller squares. This scanner is not robust enough to compensate. ### 3/5 — Booster shot *2021-11-05, version 2.3.1* It’s great to have proof of vaccination on your phone so you don’t have to carry the card with you, however, it doesn’t allow you to add your Covid booster shot. If a yearly booster is the way of the future this should be corrected on the app, or it becomes worthless. ### 3/5 — Have to Renew Every Month *2021-04-02, version 1.0.2* The app works well enough, but having to renew monthly is tedious.
