The one feature I would like is the ability to show the names of multiple saved waypoints on screen. This could be a user selected on/off feature to reduce screen clutter. You can display a single waypoint name and info by tapping it. It’s saved my but on these trails to access fishing as it’s easy to fall off the trail in the unmarked remote huts and everything. But also the trails that’s DOC maintained. All the features you need, but still simple and straightforward to use. Highly recommended. Really really hoping that the developer will make an Apple Watch version (please!). ### 5/5 — Fast and accurate *2023-01-24, version 5.61* I really like this app. I use GPS professionally for logging vegetation points and this app is faster and almost as accurate as a dedicated GPS. The only thing it doesn’t do is average a location. It would be nice if the font size could be changed for those with failing eyesight, and if multiple waypoints could be deleted at once. It’s now been updated and I can no longer get doc open hunting areas (or parcel roads),which renders it useless. If it doesn’t need fixing then don’t mess with it. I have a reliable connection too so can’t blame that. ### 1/5 — Won’t Install *2020-11-23, version 5.1* This app won’t do the most basic thing that apps should do, which is install. On top of that, every time it doesn’t install, my phone has to download the app again to re-try; with such a huge app size, it takes forever where I’m at. This is extremely disappointing and a wasted of $6. ### 2/5 — New update performance issues *2021-01-19, version 5.2* While this app has been my go-to and is generally great, the latest update sees a >10 second delay (on an iPhone XR) on opening with a ‘Processing. Please wait’ message which is frustrating and not worth the trade-off for additional functionality. The simplicity and speed of this app this a big reason why I opted for this app, and not some other unnecessarily feature-heavy apps. ### 2/5 — No longer works.. *2020-10-14, version 5.1* I sadly can’t download this anymore since my phone offloaded it for storage. Plus I can’t set new tracks waypoints not easily drop a pin flag to mark POI. The continuous improvement is also very reassuring for long term use. The compass orientation modes are very helpful when in the bush looking for river access points. I could go on, I use it exclusively.
