Identical phones (only 6 months old) newest version of Ap. We get different results for the same filter. Husband has way less than me. On my phone I often can’t pay. Husband can. It stalls, it doesn’t load. Then it can work perfectly. It is unbelievably unreliable. ### 2/5 — Lost ? You will be *2022-03-16, version 1.0.33* Since the last update 1.0.33 directions to some places our campgrounds has been off kilter. 4 out of 4 wrong in the last week Simes by a few meters out wrong side of the road others by several kilometers. I’ve used both Apple Maps and Google maps and been sent in opposite directions!!! ### 2/5 — so much promise, under delivers *2022-03-13, version 1.0.33* im disappointed with the fact that icons disappear and arent on the app until you zoom way in. Its frustrating. Sometime it freezes - and all filters disappear. And most disappointly - i dont have perfect vision. the colour coded icons before were fantastic. now they are all the same colour. Why cant they be colour and the abbreviation on them? i loved the old app - new app is underdelivering ### 1/5 — Continually freezes on initial page *2021-12-05, version 1.0.30* I never had any issues with the previous version of the app but this one cannot get past the initial photo of the motorhome page. It just spins the timer continuously and will never enter the app. Every time I have to delete it, go back to the App Store and download it again, sign in again and then it opens. I note another reviewer has said the same so I am not alone. I am using an iphone12 which should be one of the devices you test on. It’s really not good enough and very disappointing. ### 2/5 — C- *2021-10-25, version 1.0.30* Agreed this is a beta at best ,the old App was 100 times better for all functionality. Huge gaps in map locations and spots, have switched to mostly CamperMate or others ### 1/5 — New App stinks *2021-08-10, version 1.0.30* This new App won’t go onto my home screen - I literally have to come thru the App Store every time I want to use it. Definitely prefer the old app. 200%. Search function doesn’t work. Trying to download printable list of NZMCA sites- no luck. Struggling with the app when off line. At least Travel Directory worked every time. Please bring it back! ### 1/5 — Hopeless *2023-01-11, version 1.0.37* It is obvious that the money that the club is making is not going to the development of the app. Compared to the old app, which was based on the Campmate app, was superior in all aspects. The present app is unstable, hangs, hides parks until you maximise zoom level, has no links to the parks etc. it’s the simplest way of searching.and the filter functions cannot be trusted. Sad to have to just let it go and go back to the old catalogue again. ### 1/5 — POS *2022-06-07, version 1.0.34* Uses way too much data each time it loads! When it does load! Stuck on loading comments again. Delete app, reload, find what I want, rinse and repeat. No problems with earlier versions. We are travelling and it’s a real inconvenience as we use the app extensively. Better using something else and given it cost a fortune to develop a waste of members money ### 1/5 — This app now has quite a few problems *2022-02-25, version 1.0.32* This use to be a great app. However, since the update it doesn’t seem to work…. Places don’t show up… you can’t click on stuff… Data on sites seems to be missing. I’ve spoke to a few other NZMCA members and they feel the same. So I’m going to uninstall it and looks for an app that works. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly, then loses the listings when it does work. *2022-01-23, version 1.0.30* This app is absolutely terrible. Over 50% of the time it crashes and then when it does open all the info vanishes and you can’t do anything on it. Easy to use, with the ability to filter each class of site and facilities offered. ### 4/5 — Special characters *2024-01-08, version 1.2.3* Can you please fix the special characters so we can correctly use Te Reo spelling. Macrons are currently turned into question marks. Eg Taup? Instead of Taupō ### 3/5 — App Perfermance *2022-03-27, version 1.0.33* When this app is working as intended it’s great but I agree with the other comments that the locations disappear and the only way to get them functioning again is to delete the app and reinstall it. Frustrating. It’s a problem being ignored if you read comments on the NZMCA Facebook page. It would be great if the developers would sort this. ### 3/5 — Search is unhelpful *2021-04-26, version 1.0.27* You find the location and then can’t select any shown camps, exit search and back to previous view. So basically useless. Agree this is beta at present. 80% there but that last 20% is so important. ### 3/5 — Feels unfinished... *2021-04-25, version 1.0.27* The UI is nice to use and everything is easy to access, but the old travel app felt more feature-rich and robust. Missing the campsaver filter too! The iconography on the old app was clearer, but I’m sure with use you can learn the key for the new map view. ### 3/5 — Much prefer old app so far! :) *2021-04-22, version 1.0.27* The old app has much higher quality graphics and color coding made it much easier for those of us with bad eyesight to identify campsite types. Also it looks like a number of sites are missing that are on the old app? Seems like the campground filter is buggy as some stuff would show up but not others on various settings. I’m sure the bugs will be fixed over time and I appreciate the upgrades with this new version but would recommend holding on the the old one as well for a while! ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2024-12-12, version 1.2.6* The app is useful for finding various locations and the filtering system works well. But the photo uploading system does not work. ### 2/5 — Average to poor, still. *2023-01-02, version 1.0.37* Another year gone by and many of the main issues haven’t been solved. The summary numbers in circles are still horrible. Uploading photos on the road still almost always fails. Sometimes you are uploading photos to a listing with “no photos”, only for lots of photos to show up on the ipad version of the app! So don’t assume you automatically see what you are supposed to. It can take ages to refresh the listings over mobile, and often needs to do so daily.
