I would however like to see a “more information” button explaining the context of how a particular sign is used like the website, but other than that, this app is great. ### 4/5 — Great app but needs newer iOS support *2021-05-01, version 2.5.6* Have been using this with our autistic primary school students as great support, but recently noticed the videos don’t seem to be supported using my iPhone 8 Plus device. Previously used iPhone 6 Plus fine but that only went up to iOS 12. I myself am a very visual person and learned well from the videos to show the kids. It's excellent and so helpful; I'm in it every day for help and support. The points annon01 makes in their review are excellent and I agree with them. Most of all what I need is a method of saving words - I'm focusing on a batch of words at any time, and it's bothersome to be looking them up and I tend to forget them until I need them. Having no way of saving my focus words is holding back my learning. It would be hugely helpful to have an editable list of saved words. Would be grateful for a larger screen size compatible with bigger iPhones like the iPhone X. After the last upgrade, the only word that appears is 'the word of the day'. There are no other words available. I have deleted and reinstalled the app but the problem still exists. I have emailed app support as well as the gentlemen that have put the app together. To date no word, no fix. Unfortunately its an app I will have to delete as it does not work. ### 1/5 — Mmm no *2015-05-12, version 2.1* Although I've only taken ASL for a year, these are not correct. I even looked up simple words and none of them were the signs that I have learned from school! I would not recommend this app, it's gives you the wrong information. ### 1/5 — Most are not correct *2014-03-17, version 2.1* I have known how to sign for over 20 years. I am somewhat rusty. But i do remember after I have been shown. Most of these signs aren't right and when looking up a simple word it doesn't display the word by itself. If I were new at signing I would not use this app, only to be corrected later by someone and have to learn all over again. ### 2/5 — Missing Te Reo Māori *2022-03-08, version 2.5.6* I wish I reached for this app more often, but sadly I prefer the website. The app is not optimised for newer devices so it is a very clunky and unsightly experience. I also miss the Māori translations that the website provides (they do not appear for me as shown in the app preview photographs). But every so often I'll look a sign up and the app just closes down. It doesn't matter if I restart it, same sign just won't open! Which was a bit of a downer when every time I want to find a new word, I have to see the sign for suicide. It'd be great if there could be some kind of filter to keep these kind of words out of the word of the today maybe?
