### 3/5 — Tree trimming

*2025-11-28, version 6.2.4*

This app need more features such as report about city tree with low-hanging branches

### 2/5 — Clunky

*2025-08-04, version 6.2.1*

App is difficult to navigate. It does not give a clear step by step instructions. I can only imagine how difficult this is to use for the elderly. Too many unnecessary questions.

### 2/5 — Oakland 311 not very effective

*2023-12-03, version 5.15.0*

While most of my service requests are immediately “acknowledged”, weeks or months can pass without action. There are so many service requests for illegal dump at Joaquin Miller Park, that the app doesn’t allow you to report a new incident in the same area. It “thinks” you are duplicating a previous report - even those from years ago.
And then when the City does respond and remove the trash and solid waste that was dumped (Thank You), the app does not let you close-out the service request. This leads to the aforementioned problem.

### 2/5 — Super buggy

*2023-07-19, version 5.13.0*

This app is so frustrating to use.

Choosing a photo always uses the last previous photo. I have to close app and try again to use a different photo.

If you are at the submission page and you press the photo, it brings you to the start and nothing is saved so you end up having to do it again.

Clicking submit and if there is an error, app doesn’t tell me where there is an error.

Really annoying when in submission page and you have to press “ok” in a new dialog page, just have it on the same page.

### 3/5 — App review.

*2021-03-10, version 5.8.4*

It’s a little cumbersome. But it works on the consumer end. Unfortunately reports made in 2017 have deteriorated exponentially without even a repair or response in 2021. So it doesn’t really work.

### 1/5 — I feel attention us not timely when reporting on 311

*2021-01-27, version 5.8.4*

This app does not I feel a

### 1/5 — No response

*2021-01-04, version 5.8.4*

I have reported so many issues with some standing over 1567 day according to the emails I received daily with no response from the city of Oakland so I find this app useless.

### 3/5 — Difficult interface

*2020-09-22, version 5.7.0*

The process of submitting. An issue is difficult because of the way the menus and screen flows are set up. Could be friendlier to casual users if you want more adoption.

### 1/5 — This app is a farce

*2020-03-13, version 5.6.2*

I have to be honest, this app is just short of useless. I do appreciate the effort, it should help, but it doesn’t. Thanks for all the help.

### 1/5 — This app thinks I live in Emeryville

*2019-08-17, version 5.6.0*

Im an oakland home owner and tax payer when the app autofills my address it says emeryville- at least try to have a city of oakland app that accurately recognizes the city boundaries even in the parts of oakland that border on other cities. Clearly this app uses zip code in its location algorithm fix it. Then in the report an abandoned vehicle page in the license plate field for no matter how many times you press 6 it won’t populate the field 😣 Hella busted amd disgusted

### 1/5 — City Support needs a lot of improvements

*2019-08-13, version 5.6.0*

The app is a big joke, the city will not respond accordingly. It takes them weeks even months to send someone to address any issue.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why bother…it’s Oakland

*2026-08-18, version 7.0.0*

App is broken just like Oakland, you need to provide exact location, the map feature doesn’t work the best they will mark your case as dealt with as soon as you submit it. Just another app for citizens to feel empowered like there “voices are being heard” and never get anything done.

### 1/5 — NO action

*2025-11-11, version 6.2.4*

No matter how much you make a complaint nothing is being done to combat this homeless issue, theft vandalism at Uhaul on 81st ave

Can’t comment and there is genealogy to the fact!

### 1/5 — A waste of

*2024-12-28, version 5.17.0*

What good is an app that is for the safety of the community when the city does nothing about what they ask us as residents and community leaders to report. Oakland has truly gone down to sh*+s.

### 1/5 — Response time

*2024-12-09, version 5.17.0*

Website is not user friendly and response time to take action on issues is beyond slow. Takes months for the city of Oakland to address.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2024-07-09, version 5.16.0*

Reporting just for them to close the complaint and never do anything about it waste of time

### 1/5 — They’re never respond why the city spend too much money in app like this one it

*2023-09-15, version 5.15.0*

City of Oakland expending money up and down for this app when people don’t work or they’re not like there job

### 1/5 — Works as well as the city does.

*2022-06-30, version 5.8.4*

After filing a report one must wait for a verification code, which never comes.
There is a 3 week backlog for abandoned vehicles.
The map feature crashes.
Please, get a grip. Meet citizens half way.

### 1/5 — Reports never get handled

*2022-01-28, version 5.8.4*

People are not doing there job

### 1/5 — Don’t respond

*2021-11-04, version 5.8.4*

City of Oakland expending money up and down for this app when people don’t work or they’re not like there job

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — THIS 311 STUFF

*2026-03-02, version 6.2.7*

Bravo 311, I’ve submitted scores of times and ALL were eventually handled, a minor few lengthy responses, some seemed overnight 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!!! We have a ways to go to curb the illegal behavior, BUT having 311 has been a mental and visual remedy to the POS’, that scoff at our laws and abandon or dump illegally. YOU ARE APPRECIATED

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2025-08-13, version 6.2.1*

I appreciate all that goes in to dealing with Oaklands Street Challenges!

### 5/5 — Timely response to reports

*2024-10-23, version 5.17.0*

Response times to reports are not up to speed

### 5/5 — Great app. Sad failed state.

*2023-05-14, version 5.13.0*

App works great. Failed state of Oakland taking a multi year nap.

### 5/5 — Functional app.

*2022-12-29, version 5.8.4*

This may be the only thing that city of Oakland got right.

### 5/5 — Very responsive

*2022-01-31, version 5.8.4*

I love this app, you guys ways take care of things.

### 5/5 — Highly Responsive

### 5/5 — Best App ever!!

*2019-08-07, version 5.6.0*

I’ve been using this app for years. It’s very convenient and can be used anonymously. Reporting abandon cars is slow to response, but I understand that there is a backlog on getting them off the street. Reporting illegal dumping has a quick response as long as you enter the correct location. The only downfall is when there are no houses on a street it doesn’t report it correctly. Other than that, it’s great.

### 4/5 — Allendale Rec Center picnic driveway gate

*2024-09-07, version 5.17.0*

In August, observed park center gate was unlocked and wide open after 10pm until morning for criminal activity and local neighborhood nuisances, at least 3 days per week. When the park is used by night soccer, basketball and baseball games are over, locking the gate is not a priority for the local park vicinity residents. An unfortunate quality of life issue for years.

### 4/5 — Good start...

*2018-04-19, version 4.9.1.0*

The app downloaded easily, and all of my information from SeeClickFix migrated over seamlessly, including login. Seems like a more intuitive interface that’s easier to use than the current version of SeeClickFix. They really should update the app to allow for touch ID sign in, but that’s my only complaint so far.
