I’ve setup specific codes for contractors and I like being able to see when the codes were used under history. Also when guests stay over, I have RF bracelets so that they don’t have to mess around with the code. I also like having the backup of a physical key in case I forget to change the batteries. It’s a great lock for a great price! ### 1/5 — This app broke my lock *2022-09-24, version 3.0.0* I’ve had this Oaks Blue smart lock for years now and had no issues with it. The new app came out, and I have been locked out of my property ever since then. Emailed customer support, with no response. Guess I’m gonna have to destroy my own lock just to access my property. Whatever update they made, it makes my lock only respond “the lock has been reset” and flashes the numbers “1,3,5,7,9” whenever I put in the passcode. Tried all the passcodes, none of them work. ### 1/5 — No Updates in a Year *2022-06-30, version 2.2.0* No watch app. Iffy device. The only way to disable autolock is to take the sensor off of the door. ### 1/5 — No support. Oaks company defunct *2021-09-10, version 2.2.0* This company has gone under and completely stopped responding to support requests. Do not buy this lock ### 3/5 — Worked very well but not able to reconnect to my account with a new phone. *2021-01-19, version 2.2.0* The “forgot password” flow is simply not working. ### 5/5 — Please add widget for iOS 14 *2020-11-23, version 2.2.0* Widgets please ### 2/5 — It’s ok *2020-05-03, version 2.0.0* Auto lock options DO NOT WORK. The app shows the option to turn the auto lock on and off and change the amount of time it auto locks. None of it works. The door always locks immediately when closed no matter what I do. Customer service suggested I remove the auto lock magnet. I do not want to remove it!! I stuck it to my brand new WHITE door trim. Now my kids have to leave my door hanging open when they take the dogs out so they don’t get locked out or remember to take a key fob. Same thing with bringing in groceries. Do not advertise an option if it doesn’t even work! ### 2/5 — Operation failed *2020-04-03, version 2.0.0* I set it up fast and easy , it worked fine for about 30 min , then I’m not to sure what happened but it kept saying “ operation failed “ i chatted live with someone and still haven’t solved the problem . Can someone tell me why it’s doing this ? ### 1/5 — Great lock, disappointing app. *2019-12-29, version 2.0.0* I purchased both lock and gateway from oaks and only the lock would pair. Spent countless hours with customer support (specifically Branndon) who were entirely unable to help me even after troubleshooting and sending me a new gateway. ### 1/5 — Worst product in category *2019-11-06, version 2.0.0* My lock doesn’t work and I had professional support to install it. The documentation is pitiful and they provide NO support whatsoever. DO NOT buy this product, if you did, you’ll want to return it!
