## What is Oat Budget?

Oat Budget is a shared budgeting app made for couples. Connect with your partner and keep one budget together — who spent what, how much is left, and what you're saving toward, all on a single screen that updates in real time.

And you don't have to plan alone. Oat Budget's AI sets up your month and looks back on it with you.

Tell it your income and fixed costs, and AI drafts realistic category limits and a savings goal for the month. Start from a template that fits you — tighten spending, save first, build an emergency fund, split into buckets, or set a daily allowance — then adjust anything you like.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-09-07

• Month-end forecast. Your dashboard chart now draws where this month is heading. Recurring bills (rent, insurance) land on the day they're actually due, so you can see exactly how far the balance drops when rent goes out on the 25th.
• Every number is shown. Income, spent so far, recurring still due, and the estimate for the remaining days — each on its own line.
• Turn it off anytime in Settings > Month-end forecast (on by default).
• Fixed some screens still showing Korean text in English.
• Fixed wrong weekday names in the English calendar.

### 1.6.4 — 2026-08-25

• Fixed a freeze: the dashboard could stall for a moment once you had a lot of entries this month. It opens right away now, no matter how much you've recorded.
• Lists and statistics feel lighter too.
• Fixed a rare crash when opening category management.
• Also fixed being signed out when opening the app offline. If your records look empty, sign out and back in — everything is safe on the server.

• Fixed an important issue: opening the app while offline could sign you out, making your records look empty. You now stay signed in even without a connection.

• You can now scroll on the sign-up and sign-in screens when the keyboard covers the button.

• Payment method fills itself in — pick a category and we'll select the one you use most for it. Choose your own and it stays.
• Amounts in AI insights now read as plain numbers.
• Income entries no longer ask for a payment method.

• Compare with last month — last month's trend now overlays the dashboard chart as a dotted line, so you can see where you stood then and where the month landed.
