Also the route tracking it’s very buggy and broken. Performance measurements are a cool feature though. ### 5/5 — Extra gauges *2026-01-18* It is a great app. I use it on my BMW f32 for extra gauges on boost, battery status, water temperature as well as rpm, A/F ratio and range for petrol and the occasional check on failure codes in the system. It’s easy to use and does what it’s supposed to do. ### 4/5 — Mode 6 Data is not Sorted Correctly *2025-11-04, version 6.13.0* Overall, I like the reliable Bluetooth connection and chart selection and customization ability. You can realistically display 8 small charts on your screen (you can add more smaller charts, but it may be too small to view). However, the On-Board tab (Mode 6) of the Monitors section is very hard to read because of the way it is sorted. The data is sorted by Component ID (CID) instead of Test ID (TID) or Monitor ID (MID). Where it’s lacking is when you want to display real time engine data. You will only get the gauges displayed on your phone. You can not get it to display on your head unit because this app does not support Apple CarPlay. For an app you only use in your car to not support Apple CarPlay is completely missing the mark. ### 3/5 — Really great Adapter and software - lacks Volvo SPA mode 22 add on *2025-09-06, version 6.12.0* Really great and reliable stuff folks. The lack of a Volvo hybrid SPA platform mode 22 add on is extremely disappointing. Would be a HUGE value add for arguably the best selling overall platform in history. ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-08-27* This is the only ODB app that I have found to work and stay consistently connected. I’ve tried many others that would either not connect or would drop it at random times. My only suggestion is to consider making the app available in CarPlay. Being able to see the gages on the screen would be really cool. ### 2/5 — Unable to clear trouble codes *2025-08-11, version 6.12.0* It used to be able to do this, but now for some it reason it cannot. On the exact same vehicle, with the exact same trouble codes. I physically fixed the problem (it was a dead spark plug, but I cannot fix the code—the app just hangs. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Very unintuitive *2026-07-16, version 7.4.0* Very unintuitive, just a note if users create a graph they most likely want to export it as a csv as well. Makes no sense why they show us a tiny graph that you can’t export. Also hire a real UI designer. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-06-04, version 7.3.0* Incredible useless app, spent 150 dollars on their obd adaptor just to be able to do nothing with it through their app. I will return the device! ### 1/5 — Garbage for Hyundais *2026-04-30, version 7.2.0* I’m trying to use this app alongside my OBDLink MX+ to read ATF temps in order to make sure the level is correct per Hyundais directions, but even with advanced diagnostics for Hyundais enabled I can’t find it after searching for 20+ minutes. Installed Car Scanner and was able to find the value within 3 minutes. ### 1/5 — Terrible OBD2 Reader, good for bidirectional use *2026-04-17, version 7.2.0* Bought this because its bidirectional, does that job just fine. This OBD2 is not reliable to tell me what the codes are on my ram1500. im looking at lit a lit up dashboard of alarms and the app is saying theres no active codes. Brought out my other, old cheap, obd2 reader and it immediately told me theres 4 active codes. Mx+ is trash obd2 reader. not reliable and only good for bidirectional, not diagnostics. All of a sudden this past weekend it will work for a while then disconnect for no reason! I've deleted and reinstalled the app and completely erased the pairing between the phone and the dongle and it's still doing it! There are a ton of options for organizing and changing the look of live data, and the app has always been stable for me. It connects and typically stays connected, with just the occasional hiccup. I enjoy the feature where you can set the ranges and enable alerts outside of a given range.
