## Newest reviews (11 of 39)

### 4/5 — Its a great app.

*2016-04-06, version 7.6*

So disgusted by the 1 star reviews, These people couldn't code there way out of a wet napkin. This app is a huge undertaking for the Dev. The fact that it exists is awesome! Unlimited complies is worth way more than $2.99 if your complaining, ask yourself how much you just spent at McDonald's.

### 3/5 — Good but has flaws

*2014-11-18, version 6.2*

It does what I need it to do (let's me write code and runs it) but there are some other features that come with this app that don't work at all really. It shouldn't cost $3, it should be $2 but whatever.

### 4/5 — Great for learning

*2014-10-04*

This is what I needed for taking my first step towards learning programming. Writing programs is the only way to learn, and away from my iMac this allowed me to learn from my mistakes.
Only not giving a 5 because sometimes a run fails, and without changing anything it will work the 2nd time.

### 4/5 — Good app but needs work

*2014-05-11, version 4.2*

Hello iam here to talk about the icon it's ok for ios 6 but it's not good on ios 7 please fix it

### 4/5 — G

*2014-01-19*

Good for writing small programs while out and about.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2013-07-16*

I bought this app ages ago then uninstalled. Now that I've re-installed the app won't let me run code without paying again in order to run further codes!

**Developer response:** Unfortunately, the latest version of the application is free but it offers to buy compilations packages.

### 2/5 — Make a batch app

*2013-06-02*

Make a batch programming app as all the available ones are complicated.

**Developer response:** Can you explain what do you mean, please?

### 1/5 — Useful but not worth the money.

*2013-05-05*

I think instead of costing money for each compile you should add adverts. Then more people would not instantly uninstall your app.

**Developer response:** Much more users prefer to pay for the app and don't see ads. We agree with them!

### 4/5 — It's ok

*2013-04-24, version 3.3*

A good app.
Has two problems.
- You need wifi to run the compiler.
- You need to pay an additional 2.99 to compile.

### 2/5 — Limits?

*2012-09-05, version 2.2*

When I pay for an app, I usually assume that there are no limitations. With a limit on how many compiles you get a day, this app just fell to the near bottom on my list.

**Developer response:** There is no low limit of compilations per day anymore. Sorry for inconvenience.

### 3/5 — Good for what it does

*2012-09-03, version 2.2*

The app itself works great. My only complaints are:
- It compiles over an Internet connection so if you don't have an Internet connection you can only write code.
- Because it's compiled in the Internet inputs must be pre defined, so you can't have live input for your program.
- GUI could look more attractive, but I would say that for many apps anyway.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unfortunately, yet another app where it is free to download

*2017-08-30, version 9.0*

But you cannot run any of your code without paying.

**Developer response:** Unfortunately, we can't offer free compilations.

### 1/5 — They're lucky there's no 0-star rating

*2017-03-19, version 9.0*

It's crap people..... you pay for "Hello World" to show up on screen. Use ads. • the end

**Developer response:** The sample "Hello, World" program is free to compile. To compile and run your own programs you have to buy compilation package.

### 1/5 — What is this crap?

*2016-04-25, version 9.0*

I have to pay to run a piece of code? Who would even do that? Just use ads instead if having people pay to run code.

### 1/5 — In-App purchase

*2015-09-03, version 7.6*

This app would be better if it already had unlimited compilations or at least had more to begin with

**Developer response:** Just buy it and you will be able to use it as much as you want!

### 1/5 — Boo

*2015-03-02, version 7.1*

Not exactly what I was looking for I was hoping to get an app that would help me learn, use, and, practice object c.

**Developer response:** You need a compiler to practice. This app is compiler for your mobile device!

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2014-12-07, version 6.2*

Just a demo app, you need to buy to do anything. Horrible UI

**Developer response:** Why don't you want just buy it and use?

### 1/5 — Not objective c

*2014-05-13, version 5.0*

This compiler is not objective c. I tried to type in a program an it would not work. I looked at the example and realized it was not objective c...

**Developer response:** Some people think that our World isn't actually world. But the app is Objective-C programming language compiler.

### 1/5 — Won't run

*2014-02-15, version 4.2*

Says it compiled successful but run time error.

**Developer response:** Program can be compiler successfully but then raise run time error. That's correct behavior.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2013-08-11*

This app only works when there is an active internet connection. Initially, I didn't care, as long as this app has an online library for the tutorials and documentations. But it turns out this app only hotlinked from the documentations from Apple website without proper formatting. The result? The texts from the original website are almost unreadable, often times they get cut off from the screen, and often times they get duplicated, as if the developer didn't format them at all. Very messy. Don't buy this app, seriously.

**Developer response:** The primary purpose of the application is compiling and running your own programs. And it does it well.

### 1/5 — Objective-C App

*2013-07-26, version 3.3*

The objective c app has many bugs and most of all should have instructions in how to use it. Copy and paste doesn't.t always work. Compiling the program seems to have bugs. Because at first it will run and then no longer seems to be able to compile but only many errors occur and to resolve doesn't seem to work where it should especially a simple input of computation or print statement. It needs a lot of work still but the idea for beginners is not bad. I would not recommend this program for anyone until they fix the bugs.

**Developer response:** A lot of issues were fixed already and copy&paste functions are supported now.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good

*2018-12-16, version 11.1*

I can code and this is the first time I can code on my phone!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2014-07-07, version 6.2*

This app is great or anyone the wants to learn objective c! Well done!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2014-05-06, version 4.2*

I am writing a compiler that targets many languages and this app is ideal for my purposes. Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — thanks for made useful apps

*2014-01-20, version 4.2*

thanks for made useful apps

### 5/5 — nice

*2013-04-13, version 3.3*

thanks for that!

### 5/5 — Great !

*2013-04-04, version 2.2*

This app is really good but I have 1 question ... How do you enable C99 Mode ? Also you should let us pick which extension *.m (Objective-C) and *.mm (Objective-C++ a combination of C++ and Objective-C) . That would help because I am familiar with cout and cin but those can't be used in Objective-C but they can in Objective-C++.

### 5/5 — Close enough to perfect

*2013-02-12, version 2.2*

This app is as close as you can get to perfect given apples app store requirements as you can get. I would give anything for the source code to this project :P

### 5/5 — Great little app

*2013-01-07*

I only do occasional obj-c and an app like this is great for keeping your hand in, and stop you getting rusty.

### 5/5 — 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

*2012-11-07, version 2.2*

I like it this app 👍

### 5/5 — Great App

*2012-07-25*

I use this app all the time, especially on the train, to test my developing objective c knowledge.

The compiler is fast, and their is an input area, which scanf() picks up!

It is great for prototyping classes etc, and the reference material is useful as well.
