### 3/5 — Great concept, but Glitches

*2026-02-12*

I love using this app with students and the skills it can teach them in fun ways. Where we struggle is in some consistent glitches which frustrate user and teacher. When we try to use the “Audio Memory” game, the app consistently continues “buffering” and never loads which is frustrating. Using the game “Sky Runner” with students who are totally blind is a challenge because there are elements of the game that are not announced so the students are left guessing. Hoping some of this feedback can be integrated for improvement of the awesome concepts taught on this suite of games.

### 1/5 — Invalid user name or password

*2024-01-30*

Hello Dev,
I tried to set up an account and despite trying several usernames and passwords it kept saying “Invalid username or password”. I included a combination of letters, upper and lower case, numbers, symbols etc. Unfortunately it does not tell me WHY the user name and or password is invalid, making it very hard to work out what to do. I am an O&M Specialist and keen to try this app with my clients. If you can provide support with this issue that would be great.

### 2/5 — Bugs Everywhere In The App

*2023-07-02*

This is a pretty good app, but there are some problems that must be addressed.
Sky Runner is not a completely accessible game, if you think about it. How will I know that the gems are on another lane?
With the Daily Quest Log, there are instances where the quest that I have is for a game that I do not have. When I complete a quest, such as "Collect an old artifact" (Temple Explorer), that quest does not disappear.

### 2/5 — Problems

*2022-02-05*

I like this game the only problem I have is on a new game audio memory it doesn't work. When I try to start the game it does not do anything can you please fix it and thank you

### 4/5 — Fun addition to learning!

*2021-08-02*

I use this app with a student who is blind, to work on directionality. She enjoys playing the games and the sounds it makes. The only problem is the interface does not work with voice over turned on. It continues to notify you that it is a direct touch area, even after direct touch has been engaged.

### 5/5 — Way to learn!

*2021-07-08*

I noticed that most of the reviews were written over a year ago. Try OED now. There have been many improvements because when you speak with them, they will change things and make them work. I believe OED is the perfect way to incorporate fun into learning orientation and mobility, learning directions, sound localization and swiping.
For older students, the use of a refreshable Braille display blue-toothed to their device enables them to take quizzes and read short articles. Teachers can emboss questions or short quizzes which are used as overlays calibrated to the screen. OED makes it fun and easy!! Our students, O&M, science and daily living skills teachers all use it.
I give 5 stars because we asked for changes to make the app more accessible for our students and they did it!

### 5/5 — Well designed

*2021-07-08*

ObjectiveEd’s design is well thought out for individuals with visual impairments.

### 5/5 — Excellent teaching tool!!

*2021-07-08*

I have several students of varying abilities that I use this app with and it is so useful with all of them! My favorite part is that, for a couple of my students, it’s one of the only learning activities they can now do entirely independently. I can even use it as a reward after they do their regular work, and they’re actually still working on IEP goals! Highly recommend!

### 1/5 — Having trouble

*2020-07-02*

I can’t get the sound to work. Then when I’m trying to go to another screen there’s nothing to close the current screen.

**Developer response:** If you are not hearing sounds this is most likely because “Silent Mode” is enabled on the iPad. On some iPads, this Silent Mode is located and turned on or off using a switch on the side of the iPad. But on others, it can be found in the control center which can be opened by swiping down from the top right of the iPad screen. Silent mode is indicated by a bell, and if that bell is red, it means it is currently active and all sounds are muted, regardless of the volume setting of the iPad. While other apps such as Spotify or Youtube have permission from Apple to bypass the silent mode, Apple specifically does not allow games to do so. So, unfortunately, our app is not able to bypass this Silent Mode, and it must be switched off to hear the sounds.

If you are attempting to pause or close one of our games, you can swipe up with three fingers to open the pause menu. We use this gesture in all of our games to provide accessibility for our visually impaired users.

If you have any other issues, please reach out to us at support@objectiveed.com, and we would be happy to help you.

### 1/5 — NOT ACCESSIBLE

*2019-12-20*

I am not a teacher, but I am a student. I checked out this app just for kkicks & giggles, and because I also need O&M.
.. But i have a visual impairment and the app does not work with voiceover.

**Developer response:** The latest version, 1.5 or newer, released in January 2020, now properly works with VoiceOver, and is now available for both iPad and iPhone. This app is designed for teachers, such as TVIs, Orientation and Mobility specialists, and Assistive Technology specialists, and works with the ObjectiveEd web dashboard.
