DISCLAIMER: This app is not in any way affiliated with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). It's an unofficial, free and open source app to control OBS (https://github.com/Kounex/obs_blade) OBS Blade is designed to be your stream companion and help you to manage your live stream. While using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) you can connect to the running instance and gain control over important parts of the software. This should help you to manage what your audience can see / hear without the need to switch to OBS on your machine and make such changes. You can keep doing what you do and easily use this app to control OBS! Currently OBS Blade supports: - Start / stop the stream - Changing the active scene - Toggle visibility of scene items (like desktop capture etc.) - Change the volume of your current audio sources (or mute them) - View any Twitch chat and write messages - See live statistics of your stream performance (FPS, CPU usage, kbit/s etc.) OBS Blade also saves statistics of your previous streams so you can track the overall performance and some nice to know facts! Connects to my OBS after I manually hit the connect button. It won’t stay connected though. It drops connection and totally shuts down after a while and I have to manually reconnect it again. This app is great for starting out recordings, changing scenes, and stopping the recording all from our phones. In OBS, the filenames, settings, and scenes for the recordings are automatic / pre-established. The app allows easy control and monitoring from our phones. ### 1/5 — Won’t connect to obs at all *2025-04-21, version 3.2.0* I’ve tied all the potions in the app to connect to obs v 30.1.2 I selected above v.28 ( I think it that but I selected over) and non of the options will work scannng qr code, typing it in and auto discovery and non of it will work ### 1/5 — Trash *2025-01-26, version 3.2.0* Doesnt connect no matter how many times and videos ive tried still doesnt work ### 3/5 — Very good design, but some issues using for irl streaming *2024-10-20* I had this app from the very beginning. On the surface it is a great app but my usage has been mostly at my home and within my country. I recently went on an oversea vacation on the other side of the continent and found the websocket connection is not stable on various networks from Airbnb or my mobile hotspot. Toggle a source visibility and i was expected the app to lag, but the connection would shutdown after my action was completed.
