Connects to my OBS after I manually hit the connect button. It won’t stay connected though. It drops connection and totally shuts down after a while and I have to manually reconnect it again. On the surface it is a great app but my usage has been mostly at my home and within my country. I recently went on an oversea vacation on the other side of the continent and found the websocket connection is not stable on various networks from Airbnb or my mobile hotspot. Toggle a source visibility and i was expected the app to lag, but the connection would shutdown after my action was completed. But since the most recent update, every once in a while the app will crash for me. I do have this on an old iPad mini though. Might put it on my phone instead if it’s supported. Reconnection has been mostly seamless though. Just goes to show you that newer isn’t necessarily better ### 5/5 — Church Headless Ops *2025-05-18, version 3.2.0* For our medium sized church, our audio/video equipment is setup in a closet with remote control only. This app is great for starting out recordings, changing scenes, and stopping the recording all from our phones. In OBS, the filenames, settings, and scenes for the recordings are automatic / pre-established. This app covers that for you though… free. Obviously, you should 100% Tip the dev or purchase the “Blacksmith” option (which is in ZERO way required and doesn’t put any of the apps functions behind a pay-wall… it’s purely to support an incredible dev). ### 5/5 — Wish i never switched to streamlab tbh *2023-04-15, version 3.2.0* I started with OBS but when i switched to stream-labs due to the “ultra” subscription (Not sure if it was my pc RTX 3070 i7) But it made my stream choppy. They have the app controller. I just couldnt find one for OBS at the time. now i see it and I'm never switching tbh … maybe an easier export tool would be cool but I'm managing ### 5/5 — The Best *2023-02-16, version 3.2.0* I tried using apps such as TouchPortal to control OBS, and this just blows those out of the water. So much simpler, directly connects to OBS, and has all of the functions you could really want from an app like this. No idea what the negative reviewers are talking about. They don’t know how good they have it. Also, I think this is pretty comparable to SLOBS mobile controller. The SLOBS one might be a bit cleaner and simpler, but I think they have all of the same functionalities. Highly recommend. ### 5/5 — Works great now! *2022-09-06, version 3.0.3* In my last review of this app, I talked about how it rfused to connect to OBS on my computer no matter what I did (including updating to OBS 28.01 and updating the websocket). Well, it turned out to be that the default port was glogged by the old websocket. Switching to a different port, I had it all up and running in very short order. The updated ui, on both OBS and this app, just feels cleaner and better able to handle what I use it for.
