It is useless and no information about when it will be available for iPad Pro OS:( ### 1/5 — Portrait mode freezes my phone *2024-08-05, version 1.1.12* Every time I click to go from landscape to portrait my phone completely freezes up and I have to restart it. The app will stay locked with a black screen and won’t budge or show the camera footage . Nothing works, no buttons, no screen viewing, no phone controls nothing works in the app. And when I close out of the app and restart the app says camera in use so it won’t let me back in unless I power down and restart the tail. ### 1/5 — The last update does not work *2024-07-30, version 1.1.12* It keeps hanging. I can’t use any function of the Ai traking, cropping or even presets. Also, the sound doesn’t work on my regular computer. ### 1/5 — My bad experience whit Obsbot Tail Air *2024-03-02* This is my review about my bad experience with Osbot Tail Air. I purchased the product and, USING IN WIRELESS MODE, the battery cannot charge more than 76%. Was it a new or used product? Luckily I purchased it through Amazon and got the return immediately. I was so excited to use it with TIK TOK, but couldn't connect it with my RTPM CODE. Why? Why other applications like Facebook, YouTube etc. can have its own connection in your app and TIK TOK use RTMP? I give you some advice, make it possible to use your product for ALL SOCIAL MEDIA and share the live broadcast simultaneously with your app. Many use external links like LolaTv to bypass your app. I was so enthusiastic that I wanted to become your sales partner in my channels. If you do all these upgrades I will be the first customer and I will share your fabulous product everywhere. Hope you upgrade the product. For European standards you have to do better! Auf dem iPhone erfolgt die Anmeldung über die Emailadresse , auf dem IPad werden diese Zugangsdaten nicht akzeptiert. Statt dessen muss ein neuer Account mit der Mobilfunknummer erstellt werden. Ich habe den Eindruck , hier werden nur persönliche Date n gesammelt. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Trash *2026-07-18, version 1.3.1* I regret buying this camera because of the trash app. Doesn’t work at all. ### 1/5 — Portrait only iPad app in 2026? *2026-06-30, version 1.3.1* I just got my tiny 3 last night and I’m exited about it, though less excited about the obsbot center app. With that in mind, I decided to check the App Store to see if there was a better Mac app I could use. What do I find? OBSBot Start. I figure I’ll give it a try since it is being updated periodically. I download despite the 2.4 star rating. I open the app, and for a moment, it seems like it might be pretty useful. Then, it switches to portrait mode. It’s not even as though this is simply a stretched iPhone app. It was made for the iPad. Unfortunately, I am being forced to choose a star rating. There’s absolutely no reason for any iPad app to be portrait only. Fix this issue, and I’ll happily give it another look. However, the other App Live can see the camera. Then, the other App Studio can't see the camera. Come on people! Hire better developers! The hardware is great but these 3 Apps are horrible and they are not integrated. Your camera works well only on a computer. BTW, ALL the articles linked from the Apps don't go anywhere! Come on! Saved for M2 MBP. Using the Obsbot 4k and saving for the Obsbot Tail.. Went through five webcams while providing daily, online group sessions to local incarcerated people during the 'Great Isolation'. I have been productive, happy and looking good for the clients with the Obsbot. Happy to be back in the family. ### 5/5 — Essential Software for the Tailair *2023-12-15, version 1.1.4* The software is not flawless but after getting used to it is really powerful. I would like if the software allowed for an easier transition between multiple cameras in a “dashboard” but with a good Wi-Fi connection and a bit of patience its working well to bridge the “PTZ” and AI assisted features for optimizing the use of my 3 cameras on a stream. ### 4/5 — Please fix no space error *2024-10-11, version 1.1.16* Hello, I’d like to say I love this app and the camera itself but one issue I’ve constantly had is, it will say insufficient space, now it’s not talking about the SD card itself it’s talking about phone space however I have WAYYY MORE than enough space on my iPhone and ICloud storage so if someone could please help or maybe devs can make a fix I’d so greatly appreciate it and many others i believe ### 3/5 — Needs work *2025-08-02, version 1.2.5* As the only interface for the Obsbot cameras, this app needs more work. Configuration settings for RTMP streams are not easy to find (should be in the same settings menu as Livestream settings). There doesn’t seem to be a way to prevent the camera from sending initial massive bitrate bursts (500-2000mbps) at the start of the streams, causing RTMP services to reject the stream right out of the gate. Over WiFi, even on a 5ghz connection, there are frequent drops in connection between the camera and the app. The external smart remote works well, but there’s no way to configure it to start the livestream from the remote (only local record). Settings on the app are not intuitive or well explained. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work with Gamechanger *2024-01-18, version 1.1.6* Doesn’t seem to work with Gamechanger. Appears to show a connection but no live video shows up in the GC app. ### 3/5 — The product and app are lacking. *2023-12-18, version 1.1.5* The app while paired with my trail air has been very hit or miss. The cellular streaming options has yet to work. Also the person tracking has a hard time tracking the singular person. My camera keeps switching it’s focus to people on the side or back ground during sports filming. I have reached out but have not gotten any feedback from the company.
