## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 20 — 2026-09-02

Tours
- Discard a patrol that was started by mistake, even when it never reached the server.
- Tours open faster, and the checkpoint list appears straight away on a weak signal.
- Scans, photos and broken-tag notes taken with poor service now sync reliably once you reconnect, and no longer hold each other up.

Reports
- Fixed a problem where submitting a report on a weak connection showed an error even though the report had been saved.

Mileage
- If your company tracks mileage for you, a shift can be marked as one that does not need an odometer reading, and you will not be asked on those shifts.

### 19 — 2026-09-01

Faster photos
- Photos attach faster throughout the app, with less waiting after each shot.

Reports
- File a report at a site you do not normally work, when your company gives you access.
- Report drafts and photos hold up better on a weak signal.

Tours
- One patrol at a time per tour, so a tour cannot be started twice by accident.
- Discard your own in-progress patrol if you started the wrong one.
- The tour list shows the tours for the site you are clocked into.

Breaks
- At sites that require an unpaid break, a notice appears right after clock out if the break was not recorded, with what to do if that is not correct.

Also in this release
- The alerts banner on the home screen is clearer.
- Photos can be attached to messages and company updates.
- Fixes for schedules, notifications, and offline sync.

### 18 — 2026-08-29

Photos in messages
- Attach a photo to any message, taken now or chosen from your
library. Guards and supervisors can both send them.

Company updates now live under Messages
- Announcements from your company sit at the top of your message
list, with a count of anything you have not read yet. Updates can
include photos.

Tours
- Fixed a problem that could stop a tour from being submitted when a
checkpoint tag was broken or a required photo could not be taken.
- When something blocks the submit button, the app now names the
checkpoint and offers the fix on the spot.

Time off
- Time off requests can now be marked unpaid, and unpaid days no
longer draw down your balance.

Shift confirmation
- If your company turns this on, new shifts appear on your home
screen until you confirm you have seen them.

Also in this release
- Reading older messages no longer jumps you back to the newest one.
- The message box sits above the keyboard without scrolling. The
report template list opens automatically when you start a report.
- A part-written message is still there when you come back to it.
- The Clock back in option after an accidental clock-out is easier
to find.

### 17 — 2026-08-26

Overnight shifts work across midnight --
Fixed an issue where a shift starting near midnight disappeared from the clock-in screen at 12:00 AM.

See today's schedule at a glance --
When no shift is ready to clock into, the home screen now lists the rest of the day.

For supervisors: clock a guard in from the schedule --
Open a scheduled shift and clock the guard in directly, without a desktop.

Time and attendance improvements --
Late clock-ins can be excused, scheduled shifts appear for editing before anyone clocks in, and overnight clock-outs no longer need a manual date change.

Available shifts on the home screen --
Open shifts you can pick up now appear on the home screen with a count.

Faster photos --
Photos attach more quickly after you take them.

Fewer unexpected sign-outs --
A weak signal no longer signs you out mid-shift, and sessions last much longer between sign-ins.

General fixes and improvements.

### 16 — 2026-08-23

Improved checkpoint scanning reliability with automatic recovery, a Take Photo button on the scan confirmation, fewer unexpected sign-outs, and general fixes.
