## What is Obtain?

Obtain is a simple weight tracker with a little extra. 

Rather than just tracking your progress to your ideal weight, it also let you set up Markers (smaller goals) that you can reach along your journey. This is all designed to help keep you motivated through the process. Losing weight can be tough, keep track of it shouldn't be.

Update: I’ll leave my original review tagged on but like others couldn’t get the watch working with the app and any attempts to upgrade would crash the app. Then I tried the passcode which I’d left as it’s a feature Apple let us do with any app anyway so did not think it would be any help but it’s a paid feature that brings up the paywall and it didn’t crash! Once the offers gone through you get the all set pop up and the watch complications will load and work well. The dev definitely needs to fix a few bugs as it is to hard to get an upgrade and that upgrade is usually at a cost - I got the IAP on offer tho. Hope passcode works for you - once in just toggle Face ID on or off it’s only to get the IAP paywall up. Can see just how stressed I was in my review earlier lol 👇 

I’m here because no matter what I do to upgrade to use with my watch it just crashes the app. Really is frustrating and annoying as the offer will probably expire soon. My weight is all over the shop due to cancer and steroids for a bad reaction to chemo so this would of been handy to use. App wise it looks fine but soon as you try to purchase the upgrade it will crash leaving it as a basic app for phone only. If ads start showing up it’ll end up deleted as time is to short for ads,I just want the offer offered honoured.

This app is very user friendly, but if you want to see you weight history over time, use a different app. I’ve been using Obtain for two months and just realized that my weight history has completely disappeared. Disappointed.

This simplicity of this app is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, weight log details over a period of time gets scrambled and even disappears.

There is a bug so whenever I add a weight in kg, the fraction gets messed up the next time I update it. For example, if you add 90.8 kg, next time it will show 90.08!

It’s been surprisingly difficult finding a useful weight-tracking complication for the Apple Watch. This one is perfect. I know the app is new but I hope it sticks around for years to come.
