OCAD Sketch complements the desktop version of OCAD. It is designed for mapping in the field - both for new maps as well as revisions, feedback from course planners or map reviewers. Drawing pen and eraser enable fast and ergonomic sketching. GPS routes can be tracked and the compass can be used to adjust the map orientation. But what a terrible choice this UI. Only sketching after several hours give a result of a big mess and such a waste of time processing the sketch afterward on the computer. I used in the past another system with the complete symbol set and a great UI. Why don’t you simply make an app with the same functions as OCAD ?. I can give you some ideas to make an pleasant and functional field mapping tool. Improvements: * Undo-redo of sketch features now uses a single mouse action as a transaction (previously this was a transaction per feature change). * Sketch features drawing performance has been improved. * Background map sorting now only uses the drag-handle to instigate re-ordering. Bugs fixed: * Position logging on some devices didn't filter on location or time correctly which could potentially lead to inflated logs (a difference of 0.1mm and 1 second is required to log a new position). ### 1.3.10 — 2023-09-29 Background GPS logging fixed (Note that this may also require allowing "Always" tracking in the Location settings on your device.
