New app is absolutely terrible. No idea why they changed something that was perfectly user-friendly and functional. So frustrating!

So disappointing as I used to do a regular shop with them but had to delete since the latest upgrade doesn’t support older iOS on my iPhone 5SE. Oh well back to the desktop …probably!

I had to update my app and it’s awful, particularly on the trolley section as it had so many buttons showing which I would rarely use let alone have them on the screen all the time, as well as having the last check out time on a banner and the total price banner taking up far too much screen space too. I ended up using the website on my laptop as I couldn’t see what I was buying. Please remove these options or enable me to dismiss them.

I keep being asked to update my App, even though I have already updated. 
My iPhone software is up to date, and I’ve tried to delete the Ocado App and reinstall via the Apple site, but I still get the message to update theOcado App. Very frustrating.

Since this new App I am receiving constant marketing notifications which I can’t switch off unless I turn off notifications altogether. Clearly I want notifications to receive order updates so frustrating I have to put up with marketing push notifications. Pretty sure this is against GDPR?

I also couldn’t apply for a refund on my last order but that may be because it was placed on the old order so will give the benefit of the doubt on that one…

For the grocery retailer that is supposed to be the market leader in technology, this new app process is a disaster. The old app is still needed for some orders but not others.  Email communication is inaccurate and constant error when shopping.  Product sizes also much harder to identify on new app.  I expected better

Why fix what wasn’t broken?
I’ve been using Ocado for 10+ yrs and always use the app. I’ve stuck with you through the switch from Waitrose and the constant price increases, and honestly part of that was the ease of shopping. 
This new app design is horrid - poorly organised, confusing/not intuitive at all - now you have to hunt for things that were previously obvious (like receipts for past orders). It is genuinely awful, and enough to make me shop elsewhere. 
Please reconsider the design - ‘refresh’ I get…ruining a (previously) excellent and intuitive shopping experience, I don’t.

Why is the App so frustrating ? I have constant problems with moving delivery to different times or days, it just won’t let me do it and I have to phone Ocado to resolve this. They are helpful and apologetic but this is happening too often. Now I am logged out and can’t sign in, it says I have to call Ocado for assistance. I just wish I wouldn’t have to deal with this all the time….
