## What is OCARA?

OCARA is the first home management app designed around the neurodivergent nervous system.

Built by Etienny Trindade, Nervous System & Mental Load Designer with 20 years of experience and neurodivergent mum, OCARA lifts the invisible load carried by mothers and shares it with the whole family.

THE MUMS
Your calendar, your shopping list, your tasks, and your nervous system tools in one calm app. Speak a task at 2am and it saves. Photograph a bill and the app reads it. Schedule recharge time that cannot be overwritten.

THE PARTNER
A simplified view with three clear sections and one suggested task each day. Finally, a way to help without the conversation.

THE GRANDPARENTS
Grandparent Mode: large text, simple layout, no login required. One link and they are in.

THE VILLAGE
Women nearby who understand what you are carrying. Match by energy, not algorithm. Ask the circle, send a hard day signal, or find her three streets away who finally has a name.

THE SCIENCE
Every colour, every feature, every word chosen from research. Soft blues and greens that reduce cortisol. A daily tank check-in based on interoception science. A home that restores energy instead of draining it.

OCARA is the home your nervous system has been waiting for.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.22 — 2026-09-03

A calmer, smarter calendar. Say a task and OCARA turns it into a right-sized time block and finds where it fits in your day. Your children's names are now spelled the way you type them, and a child's calendar appears when you book for them. Plus reliability and reminder improvements.

### 1.0.19 — 2026-09-01

A calmer, smarter OCARA:

• Calendar: speak or type and it books the right appointment, offers a gentle 15-minute reminder, and now stays in sync with your Apple Calendar — no more doubled events.
• Shopping: just say "we're out of milk" and it lands on the right list, with no duplicates.
• New evening wind-down: plan tomorrow in five minutes — your wins, a quick brain dump, and a look at your day.
• Morning check-in now carries over anything you didn't finish, so nothing slips through.
• Lots of gentle polish to make OCARA feel warmer and easier to lean on.

### 1.0.18 — 2026-08-30

Just say it or type it, and OCARA files it for you. Anything with a date now lands on your calendar, shopping goes to your list, and to-dos stay on your to-do list. Recurring things like medications set a gentle reminder 15 minutes before. Cleaner event titles, a smoother welcome, and lots of small fixes to make your day feel lighter.

### 1.0.16 — 2026-08-13

A calmer, more helpful OCARA.

Home now shows just your one next thing. Your full list stays in the Planner.
Scan opens straight to the camera and files what it is for you.
Say "make a calendar for Ayla" and OCARA creates it, in that person's colour.
As you add your children, each one gets their own colour calendar to share.
A gentle good morning, and reminders that actually reach you.
Small refinements throughout.

Thank you for letting OCARA carry a little of the load.

### 1.0.15 — 2026-08-11

A calmer, simpler OCARA.

• A quieter home screen that keeps you focused on today
• Guides and your Village now live together under Family
• Gentle care reminders that speak your language — English and Portuguese
• Smoother voice capture, and smarter sorting of whatever you add
• Small refinements and fixes throughout

Thank you for letting OCARA carry a little of the load.
