## What is Occasion Plans?

Everything you are planning, in one place: who is coming, where they are sitting, what it costs, who you are paying, and what happens when. On your iPhone and iPad, from the engagement to the thank-you cards.

THE OVERVIEW
Open the app and the day is there. How long you have, how many have replied, what the budget is doing, which suppliers are still owed. Every number comes from your plan, and anything overdue rises to the top on its own.

THE GUEST LIST
Invite people to the whole day or just the evening, track who has replied, and keep plus-ones attached to the person who brought them. Headcounts update themselves as replies come in, so the number you give the caterer is the number you actually have. Dietary and access needs sit on the guest, not in a note somewhere else.

SEATING
Lay the room out with the tables you actually have: round, long, a top table, a cake table, a dance floor. Drag guests into seats while the app counts who is still standing, and it flags a seat held by somebody who has since declined. Print it or send a PDF when the venue asks.

MONEY
Set what you expect to spend by category, and the app fills in what you have committed from the suppliers you have booked. Categories cannot out-promise the budget, and going over is reported rather than rewritten.

THE RUNNING ORDER
Hair at eight, photographer at ten, cars at half past one. Build the order for the day itself, and separate ones for the rehearsal and the morning after. The gaps show between the entries, because the free forty-five minutes matters as much as the things either side of it.

SUPPLIERS
The venue, the florist, the photographer, the band. Contacts, quotes, what is agreed and what is still owed. Each supplier is filed under a budget category, so booking one updates the budget without you telling it twice. Deposits carry dates, so money due next month is visible this month.

TO-DOS
A new plan arrives with a wedding checklist already in it: the things everybody has to do, roughly when they are usually done. Take what you want, ignore the rest, and share the tasks out.

SCRAPBOOK
A wall you pin things to: photographs, a link to the venue you liked, a voice note from the florist. Keep several boards, one per thing still undecided.

ON THE HOME SCREEN
Three widgets in every size, plus Lock Screen countdowns and Control Centre buttons. Tick a task off from the Home Screen and it is done in the app. On the day itself a Live Activity holds the running order on the Lock Screen, with a button to move things on when something runs late.

NO ASSUMPTIONS
A new plan asks for partner one and partner two. If that is not what you call yourselves, set it to bride and groom, bride and bride, or groom and groom, and the app uses your words.

ALSO IN THERE
Catering by course. Colour palettes lifted from a photograph. Thank-you tracking. Spreadsheet import and PDF export. Fifteen accent themes and six app icons. A finished wedding is archived in full rather than deleted.

SYNC AND SHARING
With a subscription your wedding syncs through your own iCloud, so every device shows the same guest list and balance owing. Then share it with the person you are marrying. They open it on their own Apple Account and are in the same wedding, not a copy: they tick a task off and it is ticked for you. They do not need a subscription of their own.

PRIVACY
It all goes through Apple. No account to create with us, and no copy of your guest list on a server we control.

WHAT IT COSTS
Free to use for one wedding, with up to twenty-five items in each list. A subscription lifts the limits and adds sync and sharing, and covers Occasion Plans: Events too.

Personal covers one wedding, Planner up to ten, and Unlimited as many as you need. Each is sold monthly or yearly and starts with one month free. Personal Forever is a single payment for one wedding and does not renew.

### 5/5 — The Absolute Best Online Wedding Planner!!!

Although it's almost two years since my wedding on July 21, 2018, I wanted to take the time to tell you how much your app saved my sanity when planning my wedding. 

Using this app kept everything moving in a smooth fashion thus allowing me to enjoy my wedding. You see I was an older bride planning my first and only wedding and this app was absolutely perfect as I was my own wedding planner. With this app I was able to put together, plan, and execute my wedding in just 5 months. It was a small, intimate and beautiful wedding wedding with a good time had by all who attended. 

I would and have recommended this app to anyone and everyone I know who is about to get married. Thank you for such a wonderful and awesome app!!!

I downloaded this to start planning seating for my wedding with 100+ guests, and I can only add 10 before having to pay.  Not worth it.

This app is fantastic when you’re in the beginning stages of designing and planning your wedding.
I love it.  It’s easy to understand and work your way around. 
My only critique is that I’d like to see a tick box next to each person on the Guest List page when ‘Save the Date’ cards and Invites have been sent. I personally would want these as individual tick boxes.

I've been using this app to plan my wedding for a while now, loved it. The guest list tracker was great, made things very easy. It is now wedding "crunch" time and I need to finalize the seating chart I've been working on. But beginning yesterday, I cannot access the seating chart feature without the app immediately freezing up and quitting on me. I'm afraid to delete and try to re download and lose all my guest info that's already been entered. Please fix this! Everything was great until this point! I would gladly rate 5 stars if not for this major issue.

You can add 10 guests to your guest list then it asks you to pay and upgrade.
There are other apps that are better for free.

This an okay app. It's not the upgraded version so you are very limited to what you can do. The to-do list is not pre made so you have to do it yourself. It also comes with a customizable seating plan, but it is difficult to rotate the tables. I don't think buying the upgraded version is worth it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for this, and sorry it has taken so long to answer. The app has been
rebuilt from the ground up, and most of what people asked for over the years is
in it now.

Plus-ones are attached to the person who brought them, each with their own
reply, and families can be kept together as a household. The seating plan is a
room you build from the tables the venue actually has, with guests dragged into
seats. The budget shows what you planned against what you have committed and
paid.

If you bought the original app, that carries over. The update is free and
there is no limit on the size of your lists. iCloud sync, and sharing a plan
with your partner so you are both in the same one, are the new part and are what
is paid for now.

If the thing you asked for is still missing, I would rather hear it than not.

I absolutely love this app. Of course you can use pen and paper, but it's much easier, neater and nicer to use the app. Everything in one place.
It does everything from tracking the budget, to arranging the seating plan. The seating plan lets you choose tables - round, square or rectangle with any amount of people just where you want them or you can move them around in the plan with a slide if your finger. It's great.    To do lists, thank you lists, you name it you can send emails from the within the app.

YOUR OLD PLANS COME WITH YOU
This arrives as an update to the app you already have, so your icon stays where it is. The first time it opens it finds the database the old version left behind and imports it: plans, guests, budgets, suppliers and the rest. It reads the old files without altering them, and it runs once. If something looks missing afterwards, please do not delete the app, because that removes the old data with it. Get in touch first.

WHAT YOU PAID FOR IS HONOURED
If you bought the full unlock in the old app, or bought extra plan credits, they carry over. Long-standing customers keep their unlock without doing anything. If an old purchase is not recognised, open Settings and use Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple ID you originally bought it with.
