## What is Occupation Physical Assessment Test (OPAT)?

The OPAT App is designed to educate ALL Army Recruits and Soldiers reclassifying from the Combat Support and Combat Service Support Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) who desire to enter into a Combat MOS. A physical assessment of four test events; the Standing Long Jump, the Seated Power Throw, the Strength Deadlift, and the Interval Aerobic Run, the OPAT will measure each recruit and Soldiers' physical aptitude against validated physical demands and tasks in each MOS to help ensure they are being placed in the right job positions. 

The app was created in partnership between the United States Center for Initial Military Training and the TRADOC Program Office Mobile Team.

### 1/5 — Useless to the field since you still have not put the beep test

This is app is a one time use app since it only contains the instructions. It needs the beep test, the ability the digital record the events and print the score card based on Mos input. Consent form can still be printed before from other sources since we need it prior, but it should have both the beep test and The ability to record the score. Also the deadlift should have more weight on the score card as some applicants want to lift more to match the Acft.

The MOS standards are not listed anywhere. The links go to dead webpages. There is not digital scorecard. Really needs the audio for the interval aerobic run. Has potential to be good. But pretty much useless as it is now.

Overall it includes all the doctrinal information for the OPAT and can be a good tool for NCO's on the go and/or conducting the OPAT offsite. I was hoping for an MOS listing and being able to have features like the beep test and digital scorecards or score tracker.
