Think you know chess? Think again. Ocean Chess takes chess puzzles to a whole new level with boards that break all the rules. Teleport your pieces across the board, step on a transformation tile to become a queen, and watch out for deadly traps! 300 hand-crafted puzzles. One forced solution each. No luck, no guessing — just pure chess logic pushed to its limits. When normal chess feels too easy, try Blindfold mode — memorize the board before it disappears, then solve it from memory. Or race the clock in Time Trial and see how fast you can think. Every puzzle is a new challenge. Every solution is satisfying. Are you smart enough to solve them all? ## Pricing and in-app purchases Base price: Free. **One-time purchases** | Purchase | Price | Type | | --- | --- | --- | | No Ads | $2.99 | one-time | | 500 Coins | $0.99 | one-time | | 1200 Coins | $1.99 | one-time | | 2500 Coins | $3.99 | one-time | | 6000 Coins | $7.99 | one-time | | 25000 Coins | $29.99 | one-time | ## Version history (last 2 releases) ### 1.1 — 2026-08-23 Bug fixes and improvements ### 1.0 — 2026-08-18 No release notes. ## Apps similar to Ocean Chess | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Helpmate Puzzles](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/helpmate-puzzles/id374187953) | 3.3 (7) | $0.99 | Games | | [Tesserae Trails](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tesserae-trails/id6782651617) | 5.0 (4) | Free | Games | | [Puzzle Quest: Chess Adventure](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/puzzle-quest-chess-adventure/id6784173163) | 4.0 (4) | Free | Games | | [Chess Mega Bundle](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/chess-mega-bundle/id1528161084) | 4.6 (125) | Free | Games | | [Quetzi](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/quetzi/id6450759176) | 4.7 (34) | Free | Games | | [ENYO](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/enyo/id1118353232) | 4.7 (436) | Free | Games | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
