### 2/5 — Persistent bugs

*2026-08-31, version 2.1.1*

Good game but the light bringer dlc, the devs didn’t do a good job removing all the bugs. I wasn’t able to pass through the gate in Goblin graveyard and when the devs added an update I still couldn’t pass through the gate. When I’m connected to a gamepad, when I use the teleport pod, I can only move up and down only.

I even emailed them a video showing I wasn’t able to pass through the gate.

### 4/5 — Stuck

*2026-08-29, version 2.1.1*

Same problem as pretty well overall

### 4/5 — Great game, good pacing.

*2026-08-28, version 2.1.1*

This is a great game in my opinion, and much of the story is paced just fast enough that it doesn’t bore one to death but slow enough to really appreciate the time put into the game. However, the end of the main quest and the start of what the goddess sol mentioned ‘the search for Astroblade’ is a bit too long, I recommend that in future updates xoma’s emblem schematic time is shortened, skip-able, or that the clock for it is based on real world time and not on time spent in the game.

### 3/5 — Great game but buggy

*2026-08-26, version 2.1.0*

I’ve played the game up until the Lightbringer update. The game is updated, but it hasn’t done anything or changed. The game keeps saying that an island I’ve already completed has been added as new. The game just seems stuck. I’m going around in circles trying to get the game to progress but it doesn’t. Shame, as the game is one of the best on Apple Arcade, but I’m fed up of the game now. I’ve filed a bug - let’s hope there’s another update.

### 4/5 — Awesome until a point

*2026-08-14, version 2.0.0*

During the main game it’s awesome. There’s a lot of islands to discover and a lot of quests to do and several mini games like the card game tarock. But after the credits for the main game completion and being told the hunt for the astroblade has begun, I can’t find high rock island to progress with ANY of the quests.

### 4/5 — Yes Hi

*2026-08-10, version 2.0.0*

Yo

### 4/5 — super

*2026-08-07*

*2026-08-05*

### 2/5 — Ich habe den Spaß daran verloren

*2026-08-05*

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-03, version 2.0.0*

Amazing game great graphics love the story line

### 5/5 — Bug report

*2026-08-03, version 2.0.0*

I found a bug on the first island where if you jump on the log with the axe at the lumber mill in a certain angle you get thrown to heaven lol

### 3/5 — Need more features

*2026-08-02, version 2.0.0*

Overall pretty fun. Was weird when the credits rolled but the game didn’t seem to be over. Wish they had a built in tracker for bloodstones and machine parts. Would like more solvable puzzles and items that are needed to progress. Like you have to get certain items to get to the next area type of things. Some treasure chests contain meh items that you could purchase from a vendor so the wow factor is limited. Fighting gameplay is ok but even with the best weapon and armor enemies still take a while to hit over and over. Tapping to switch between weapons like 6 times would be better to hold then drag to the right one. I’m being picky tho. Still enjoyable

### 3/5 — Why I’m giving ocean horn three stars

*2026-08-01, version 2.0.0*

When I found this game in the Apple arcade I thought I’d give it a shot the first star is for its breathtakingly beautiful graphics the second is for the story it was pretty good the third is for the overall look of its male lead character he’s handsome now that being said as someone who’s played the legends of Zelda twilight Princess, will you HD edition though the game is in and of self is very challenging they make it petty easy to find what are commonly known spirit springs that are scattered throughout the game. Ocean horn however, makes it really difficult to find any kind of hearts they put shrines in this game that you can access but they do make it very, very difficult so difficult that I decided to quit on the game after a while it started to feel like a grind more than anything don’t get me wrong. The legend of the twilight princess is Challenging however, I was able to pass the game and it was worth it. Take care katie

### 2/5 — Fishing ruins it

*2026-08-01, version 2.0.0*

Overall the main mission path of the protagonist is fun, and the story is satisfying enough for those of us who are fans of the OH storyline.

All the normal gameplay is adequate, although the fighting is basically just to use the monsters elemental weakness and spam the attack button, with an occasional special attack thrown in. Fun enough, but I miss the strategic use of defensive moves with a shield or blocking function. The dodge still works the same, which is cool.

Then we come to the fishing. TBH, I always found the fishing aspect of the OH series slightly annoying, but it could be fun in small doses. In previous OH’s, the fishing was thankfully largely absent from the 100% path of the game. I remember you needed it for a key in Island of Whispers but they didn’t make that fish particularly difficult.

In OH3 the fishing has its own series of sequential missions that are tied to getting 100% on the game. To top it off, the fishing mechanic that was once slightly tedious and difficult has become utterly excruciating. Tedious but relatively straightforward I can live with (like the Titan fights). Difficult but exciting, or even somewhat interesting, I’m completely fine with. The now obligatory fishing in OH3 is the most unrewarding, monotonous task I have ever undergone for the sake of a silly game. It completely killed what fun I was having and now my fun meter is in the red. If I wanted tedious and difficult, I could stay late at work every day.

Also, I’m not sure, but I think one or more minor side quests outside of the fishing may only be queued up once the fishing missions are completed, such as a last side quest on Blue Town(?).

### 5/5 — I absolutely loved this but…

*2026-07-31, version 2.0.0*

Firstly please lengthen the main story line because I had finished it in about 2 months (excluding the final schematics)+ the final schematic takes 10 years so when it says 10 years later please make it happen for the schematic. All in all very good game and I LOVED Oceanhorn 2

### 1/5 — I wish I could give 5 stars.

*2026-08-14, version 2.0.0*

There’s a massive bug in an area called Tibers Rest. The item is honeypots and they don’t register in the game as completing, even after you complete it. I will change my review to 5* but right now it destroys my compulsiveness to get 100%

### 1/5 — Hall of Faith bug?

*2026-08-08, version 2.0.0*

I seem to be stuck at the Hall of Faith but I don’t think it’s my fault: I ran under the spikes then quickly ran back and the spikes descended. But they are now stuck in that position, about 3/4 of the way down. No matter how long I wait, they never move again. Bug or have I missed something?

UPDATE: Still waiting for a developer response or a bug fix release.

### 1/5 — Tarrock

*2026-06-24, version 1.2.0*

Its super annoying thay you lose a card when playing tarrock - I just end up closing the app before the game is over, wastes time

### 1/5 — Grande déception

*2026-06-21*

### 1/5 — I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that request.

*2026-06-19, version 1.2.0*

I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that request.

### 1/5 — this is not a hero’s journey. This is unpaid hazard labor.

*2026-06-13, version 1.2.0*

hero saves book lady from falling pillar, but hero falls into ancient ruins in the process.

book lady says " u ok bro? oh snap, go search those ruins you found."instead of you known "thanks for saving my life AGAIN "

because earlier...

hero fights a shroomturtle thing and book lady watches doing nothing.

hero kills shroomturtle and book lady says "nice job" instead of something like "thank you for doing literally all the work."

The top it off I can barely read the tool tip in the bottom right corner for what button to push. I am like 2 feet from my iPad with a controller, but it's like they expect me to wear my iPad like a VR device to see the writing.

### 5/5 — A truly delightful surprise

*2026-08-29, version 2.1.1*

M1 Mac Studio Ultra

Oceanhorn 3 has been a delightful surprise! It goes above and beyond what I expected from games on Apple Arcade, delivering an excellent experience. I’d happily recommend it to players of all ages – whether over 21 or younger. Especially the former, given the Apple, rightly, have majored on prioritising games for our younger players.

The game’s story is wonderfully immersive, pulling you in and making you genuinely care about the characters. Its combat system and world navigation are absolutely top-notch, providing a perfect balance: challenging enough to stay engaging, yet simple enough to pick up quickly.

I’ve been running Oceanhorn 3 on my M1 Ultra, where, as expected, it performs flawlessly – smooth and beautiful. While I can’t comment on how it plays on lower-end Apple Silicon Macs, I’m confident that any Apple Silicon machine will handle it well.

If you’re looking for a high-quality, approachable adventure, I strongly recommend giving Oceanhorn 3 a try. I’m glad I put aside my doubts and jumped in – it truly is a great game!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-08-25, version 2.1.0*

Best Apple Arcade game out there.

I played it on a 27" i7 iMac in a window from start to finish, and it play flawlessly.
Game plays on after the credits roll, but seems a little disjointed from there on, but nevertheless an enjoyable game. Looking forward to OceanHorn 3.

I like the throwback with the throwing the pots certain things that legend of Zelda would do and I like those little nuances that you guys have done beautiful scenery the music is actually good it's hacking/it's it's not too difficult but there are puzzles which are fun and I love searching for stuff and finding you guys have made it the treasure hunting RPG dungeon master game fun again!

### 5/5 — Amazing game, but

*2026-08-05, version 2.0.0*

The only problem I have with this game is that I play with a Xbox controller, but it thinks I’m playing with a PlayStation controller so the controls are really confusing
